Grerat rooms but sticklers for rules

I really enjpyed my stay in the bungalows. They were basic but clean and quiet. The only down side was that the staff, whilst polite and efficient, were real job bodies. They were adamanant that you couldn't invite friends back after 10pm withough paying, they didn't offer refunds if you wanted to leave early and if you were late checking out they'd charge an extra. I would have thought a little flexibilty given how long I stayed and how much I paid would have not been unreasonable to expect.

this was our first time at phi phi - islands and what a trip it was! hotel was everything we hoped for, though you must look at some things in thai-perspective. in overall the hotel was well kept and clean. bungalows and the garden were lovely and different from anything i had ever seen before.
would definitely go here again!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Excelent location in the middle of Phi Phi. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, towels were complimentary from the hotel.

Above Average Beach Hotel
Away from party noise, clean, good breakfast

Above average beause service was efficient, room ready on time, away from the loud beach party noise. Also buffet breakfast good. No privacy; could hear everything in neighboring bungalows, hope you don't get the loud young chaps that like to sit an drink on the patio all night while telling drunk stories or no sleep for you. Thought the grounds were a bit beat up and not maintained. Expected more for the price.

I think this is a great place for anyone but unfortunately we aren't, so Phi Phi in general not for us. Bungalows set out on timber walkways with lovely gardens which delightful. Really nice pool with swimup bar and spa. Breakfast generous with good selection. Bungalows cute, and fine if you spend most of your time out and about. Porters terrific getting backs to and fro from ferry through winding streets and immovable people.I think people younger than us would really enjoy themselves. Surrounded by internet, shops, travel agents, massage places.
Restaurant Tip:
Breakfast nice. Separate staff member for omelettes. Nice choice Western and Asian food.

Great hotel with a cool pool and close to beach

I loved our 6 night stay here. All the staff were very friendly and we were on good speaking terms with half of them by the end of our stay. The pool was the highlight as you have a bar you can swim up to. We spent a good few hours a day round it. All the guests were all very friendly too. Had a really nice stay. Location wise, you are right next to all the likely bars on the beach, but do not hear any noise. Breakfast was very good. It was a usual buffet, but always a high standard. Loved our stay here and if ever going back to phi phi would defo stay here.
Restaurant Tip:
You should try and find a place called unnies. Best food on the island.

we stayed in Aboreal for first night in Phi & second night in PP casita, compare to Aboreal, PP casita is so small.
the room is less than 10 Square Meter I think. however it is clean, and got fly screen! so you can open the window and get some fresh air.
It is ok to live there for one night or 2.
very nice breakfast, they even have one person cooking the fresh omelet or fried egg for you on site.

Average hotel with small bungalows

The hotel deserves two stars not more comparing to similar hotels in other places. Service was average, with the same breakfast every day. Bungalow was all wet the whole time, our soaking wet shoes were wet still three days after we came. The surroundings should be taken care of, they could at least swept the water from the entrance point to the hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
After eating the same Thai food in rastaurants every day, we have decided to try spring roll, meat on chopstick and pancake with chocolate and banana from the street. We regret that we have not done this before - the food was delicious. :-)

These bungalows are situated at the top of the hill, perfect location, outside the hustle and bustle of the bars. The rooms are clean & tidy. The breakfast is good, wide variety of local & English food. The hotel staff just need to be a bit happier. They helped if you asked but didn't offer!
I would stay there again.
Nightlife Tip:
Close to all night life but just far enough away to be quiet.
