The rooms are comfortable and has all the amenities you would expect. It is located about 150-200 m from the beach where all the bars are. This is a plus because you can get easy access to all the bars and restaurants but you can hear the music and bass from all the beach bars until the early morning hours.
That said we did stay in another hotel closer to the beach with less noise and actually came back to Casita for its location and pool. It is close to the shops and some good restaurants
It is a little pricey but I think it was still worth it.

Room was clean and had everything we needed included - safe, shower, air con, TV etc. Room serviced every day. Nice pool with good seating surrounding, which was key in the heat. Close to party beach so great for young travellers who aren't on a budget.
Nightlife Tip:
Party scene kicks off late, busiest between midnight and 2-3am.

Better than most on the Island

For the price this hotel doesn't come up to scratch. This doesn't seem to be isolated to this hotel however as all of them on the Island seem to be overpriced for what you get.
When staying here however the focus shouldn't be too much on what you do at the hotel as rather what you do outside of there. There is plenty of night life at the nearby pubs and beaches and there are loads of tour operators to help fill out your day time activities.
The rooms are satisfactory and make the stay comfortable.

So, I really disliked Phi Phi. If you're looking for a party scene and groups of preening, posturing faux-hipsters, then you'll probably enjoy this island. Not what I personally look for in a beach setting. I did enjoy my bungalow though; only stayed 2 nights, but it would have been an enjoyable place to sleep for longer, as it was large and had plenty of amenities. Front desk staff seemed jaded by so many tourist interactions, so expect to be moderately tolerated.

many many rooms here, mostly small bungalows but also have some not nice rooms in a building at the back.
it is quite close to the lively end of the island and can be noisy either from other guests or the nearby bars.
ok for partiers, not so suited for people looking for a queit time

A little far from the pier so if you have heavy luggage arrange with the hotel to have the staff meet you and help. The rooms are large and comfortable with a nice TV, fridge, etc..... The breakfast is good. The pool and landscaped surroundings are very nice. There is a smaller beach within a short walk.

In total, stayed for about 12 days. The rooms were comfortable and clean and well air conditioned. Nice pool area, friendly staff, great omelette's for breakfast. There is a security policy not allowing people who are not guests into the premises after 10.30pm at night so you feel very safe and secure.
Restaurant Tip:
Must go to the French Restaurant on the island for fine dining - it is divine.

When you get off the ferry from Phuket, the P.P. Casita guys will be on the pier to greet you and take you to the hotel. It's a decent 10 minute walk through Ko Phi Phi to the hotel. It's far enough removed from all the bars and beach bars, which is huge if you want to catch any shut eye for the early morning dives. The entire island is not built for luxury living so we expected that much from our hotel. It's relatively spartan but you have a/c and a bed to sleep on. Bathroom is dual shower/toilet. It's a cross between motel 6 and best western.

Ko phi phi is a young party town. There are couples sprinkled here and there, but for the most part it's twenty-something Aussies & Europeans traveling through. So you want a room within walking distance of the main drag but far enough away from the noise & music. Well, PP casita offers that, plus a comfortable room with a/c. Nuff said
