A few initial problems: A/C and fridge not effective and TV did not work but we were given another bungalow on reporting this. Generally comfortable, although the room was tiny. Breakfast good compared to other places we had stayed on Phi Phi Don. Clean pool but not enough pool lounges available. The resort is quite a distance from the Pier so you need to fit enough to walk the distance in the extreme heat.
Clean, comfortable room.
The Villa Room verandahs look out onto a smelly tidal drain. The closest beach is littered with every type of rubbish although the water appears clean enough.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you hire your own long boat to go across to Phi Phi Ley, be prepared to pay 200 baht per person to even just step onto Maya Beach.

If it is excluded that the room is too narrow, then it is a good hotel.

A lovely hotel set amongst fabulous tropical swamp. For the price it was ok. Lovely pool area. The majority of rooms are bungalow style and all the walk ways are raised by 2 feet off the ground, adding to the charm of the resort. However, rooms are a little small. We were in a fan assisted room, for we were on a budget, and considering the expense of rooms on Phi Phi, we couldnt afford the extra for air con. However, upon reflexion, I would have paid the extra because it was very, very hot at night in the room. The fan didnt do much to cool the room at all. Overall, a nice hotel in nice surroundings.

Small Rooms
- Hotel Feature Tip : Pay the extra for an air conditioned room. It will be well worth the extra cost!

The breakfast was really good.
- Nightlife Tip : Head down to the beach for a few casual drinks at the beach bars. They provide a great atmosphere and there are often fire twirlers and other entertainment going on.

I usually suffer a lot in the summer (anywhere I am), with the heat. But this time I chose a fan bungalow and did not get disappointed. At night there was always a mild breeze and the fan did a really good job...and it was in April! Also, the staff of the hotel was waiting for me in the pier and carried my luggage to the hotel.
- Restaurant Tip : Try the local food, near the pier. At the beggining it is kind of scary, but it is really tasty!

Some staff good/friendly, but let down by the few miserable/rude ones.
