Nice hotel a little bit out of town
A little bit of a walk but it was nice to get away from the loud music at night so it was worth the walk.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. It is about a 10 minute walk to town which is a little farther than preferred during the day but it is nice at night when the bars in town areal young music really loud late into the night.
Nightlife Tip:
Go see a Muay Thai fight!

Decent price but a bit rough round the edges
lots of space double and single bed, balcony, decent cable tv and ac, and hot shower

decent price compared to other hotels on phi phi. be prepared for mosquitoes. we bought a 30 baht mosquito coil and sprayed ourselves with repellent before going to bed and had no problems with mosquitoes. bathroom was slightly open to the elements had leaves blow in. if you are prepared to rough it a little and spend most of the day at the beach and drinking it's fine. a lot cheaper than other hotels on phi phi. we paid around baht per night and all other places were looking for so a good saving. staff were helpful, be prepared to compromise on the quality. walking there was fine on the way down but steep stairs and not an easy walk from the main center after a few beers.
Travel tip:
buy repellent fine!

the rooms are badly in need of maintenance. there are nails sticking out of the floor on the walk ways and the stairs down to the room are extremely unsafe. there is a big step into the bathroom and then a two foot step down to get into the shower. you will notice on the there isn't a picture of the bathroom...wonder why? our room was moldy and there was a dead daddy long legs squashed onto the wall, which was in plain sight so should have been cleaned up. the place is a mess which is a shame as with a little maintenance it could be fabulous. one thing i will say is that the staff were very friendly and they picked us up from the pier when we arrived...which is a good job as the hotel is located up a very steep hill.

i think the resort provide all of equipment i needed,but the location is very far from the beach. it quite take time walking from the beach, shops and restaurants.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Although it is far from the beaches and the entertainment places, it is close to the view point of Phi Phi island,if you stay there, do not miss a chance to see the view point.

this was the cheapest place we were able to find to stay booking online. it was a little removed from the main ferry, so the hike with a pack was a bit rough and up a hill (maybe a 15 minute trek). also, it was tough to find since no one in town seemed to know where it was, if you tell people its next to bamboo mountain view resort its a little easier to get directions.
the room was small but had really big beds and came with a big mosquito net which you might need. our air conditioning didn't work, but the fan was fine. the shower was warm and the bathroom was decent. great views from the porch but you can definitely still hear the club music from the beach even though you're removed from town. the locks on the doors were a little sketchy, but we had no problems whatsoever with theft and the front had a lock box to keep valuables. definitely a place more suited for backpackers than those seeking convenience or luxury, but perfectly adequate for the price.

Nice location - a bit difficult to get to

The rooms are quite small and the bathroom i a bit open air - there might be creatures when you go in!! it's a bit of a walk in the dark from the city centre to the hotel and if you had a drink it will prove very difficult to go up the uneven stairs. Also going down with luggage might be a bit dangerous if it's slippery from the rain.

The hotel was exactly what I pictured, however I did think that it was closer to the beach than it actually was. I was under the impression that the beach was within "walking" distance (like down the road) but actually the beach was closer to 15-20 minutes away by walking. But the hotel was very quaint and perfect for those who enjoy more of a mountain cabin feel.
