The hotel is at a great location, close to the pier and everything and yet, itś far from the noise. the walk to the beautiful beach is short. The staff is very nice and kind.
If you take a room which has a wooden floor and the pathway to it is also wooden, be prepared for noise from all creatures that walk there or at the room next to you.
in the morning, at around 8, you might wake up to the yelling from the housekeepers walkie-talkie.
the swimming pool is very nice and quite. the fitness center is amazing (specially the changing rooms).

The hotel is not in the bar area hence allow a good night sleep after the exhausting day time activities. Free access to the gym and internet is also great. There is a variety of fitness equipments which is good to keep up my body shape after the heavy meals and drinks.
Restaurant Tip:
Check the Calamaro and Cosmic restaurants in the bar street. These two restaurants provide great Thai and Italian food.

The staff were friendly and helpful which was a good start although it was the busy season. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The pool was great! Having a selection of food was great as the Island is small and there is a great view to boot. The location was fantastic and very close to many of the beaches.

We had a bad exprience all together.. Some of the rooms had cockroaches. The location is the only good thing of the hotel.
Because the hotel was packed, the staff was rude and apathic. They don't manage to coap with many guests so be sure to come here only when the hotel is half empty.

The hotel was clean and tidy and comfortable. We stayed in the old wing and were initially worried we were to close to town until we realized you can't escape it! Think of it s more of a hotel than a resort with wide open spaces. The gym will knock your socks off if that's your thing, totally didn't expect that on an island!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Koh phi phi was not quite what I had expected , great if you want to party he night away but not much else happening. The main part of the island is very crowded with markets and stalls and bars line the beach. The beach was not up to sunbathing and reading a book, a bit of rubbish around and a lot in the water too. If swimming and lounging at a beach is your thing recommend staying at long bay, paradise and not far to walk to the centre of the carnage. Maya bay was nice but crowded, be prepared for lots of people everywhere even in September.

Hotel rooms not well insulated and it got a bit noisy at night. Gym is great, as was breakfast. Room a bit dated for the price (and we paid low season prices!). Pool small with literally only 6-7 lounge chairs, but beach is better always!

cleaning of room was ok but towel rail broke and air condition did not work properly. Biggest problem was the Bed ?? I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this was the hardest bed i have ever had. ROCK HARD comes to mind. All the staff had phones which were so loud it was disturbing.

the hotel is extremely convenient to access, you can walk from the pier with your bags no problem. front desk staff are the weak link, the receptionist checking us in made me go and get a print out of my booking, even though she told me she had all my reservation details and knew that i booked through agoda. i found all the front of house staff to be rude, housekeeping and gym staff were very friendly. fantastic gym, the best hotel facilities i've ever used. no restaurant so no room service but don't opt for breakfast, save your money, you get it from the restaurant across the street and it's the worst breakfast i've had on all my travels through thailand. also, no wifi available in the rooms, not even to pay for. pool stays shaded most of the time
