avoid,

having stayed at many hotels in thailand, this, unfortunately, was not one people should consider. take that back, if you want poor service, a dirty room, non-working ac, and a staff who treat you like it’s a privilege to stay at their hotel, then by all means come here.
the only thing this place has going for it is its location right on the beach if you get a sea side room (there are only 7 rooms, 4 facing beach, and 3 facing back away from beach). located on the far right of the beachside as you come off the pier, you have somewhat of a walk to the “hotel.” the sea-side room has a balcony and a couple of bar stool chairs facing the beach from the second floor above the hotel restaurant that sits below. so the bad side: check-in is strictly enforced to be not before 1pm. they will not shed a tear for you if you show up in the morning and have no place to go meanwhile. check-out is 11am, also strictly enforced or a 300 baht fine per hour is imposed for every hour after 11am you stay. they seem to take pride in the fact that they consider themselves to be in line with all other koh phi phi hotels on this point. they will not give you extra towels either for your room or for going to the beach even if you ask nicely. they will not give you an extra key for your room to give your other friend/family member/spouse. they have no elevator, so expect to lug your baggage up a few flights of stairs. they do not have working ac contrary to their website (fan blows nice warm air at you, even bringing a guy up to look at it amounted to no improvement). the toilet and shower are on the same wall in the bathroom which felt it had sand left on the floor from the previous tenant. walls are thin allowing you to hear people doing their “business” in the other rooms. in fact, sand on the floor on the main bedroom area seemed to be the norm from the previous tenant indicating they did not sweep area clean. avoid.

pros: fantastic view, and i mean fantastic! the pictures don’t do it justice.
location is superb, right on the main street.
cons: no phone to call reception, reception closes at 10 and after that you cannot get a hold of anyone for anything!, if they are closed and your toilet gets clogged and you need to use a restroom you will be screwed,
restrooms smell like sewage, when other reviews say the bar a few restaurants down the road is loud they arent kidding! , you can hear the music in your room no matter what. if you need extra toilet paper you have to go to the store to buy some, they don’t give you more then 1 a day and they are so small they don’t last. they don’t change the sheets even when they come in to clean your room, the bathroom are reallyyyy bottom of the barrel, the sink to wash your hands has a tube leading to the floor to when you wash your hands the water goes all over the floor in the bathroom, so you cant brush your teeth in the sink or you will have tooth paste all over the bathroom floor, you also shower next to the toilet so you cant keep the toilet paper in the bathroom. the critters sleep with you; yes you will see a few lizards hanging out with you on your bed, the bed is hard as a rock and its arched so it hurts your back. its tiny, no dressers so you will have no room for your stuff. you also can’t get fresh towels if they can’t come and do a full cleaning. so, if you’re the type to just ask for toilet paper and fresh towels and not have them do room service till the last day, you wont be getting your towels or t-p. communication is bad, only one man runs the place and his english is poor.
i usually stay at 3 star hotels, i’m a backpacker, takes very little to make me happy. i was pissed!! i am the type to never complain and just go with the flow; i think a tent and an air mattress would have topped this place. you also have to leave your room key in an outlet which powers the room and if the key is not on there then there is no el

I would not recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a really budget room and party location. It is right next to a big bar that parties till 1:30am an the noise drove u crazy. The room is small, the bathroom drains really smell and the bathroom just has a shower head over a toilet and is not at all good! The reception was really helpful in booking ferry and activity needs but there are plenty of better places to stay on phi phi!!

This was not my first choice in hotels but I ended up there by default. My first 3 picks were all booked up. It's close to the pier and just on the edge of town so the location is great and the staff were very nice and friendly. The rooms are big enough and although the bathrooms are small in the sea view rooms, room number 5 has a very large bathroom, but the water stinks horribly. The bedding was worn but clean so I couldn't really complain but the floor had a film of sand on it and I don't think they ever swept. There was some noise from the bar close by but it wasn't as bad as at some places. Their restaurant was not good although the view was spectacular so you might want to order a coconut shake (which were great) and just enjoy the view then go elsewhere for dinner. Overall, all the hotels on Phi Phi are over priced but you could do worse. As long as there aren't bugs I'm pretty ok. Would I stay there again, probably not but like I said you could definitely do worse.
Nightlife Tip:
The nightlife on Phi Phi was excellent. For go clubbing house music Slinky's is best. For relaxing on the beach and watching a fire show, The Rolling Stoned is excellent.
But the best thing to do on Phi Phi is scuba diving and for that I recommend Barakuda. If you go on the afternoon dives it is less crowded and you can get one on one instruction. It is absolutely amazing!

Good location but unclean rooms and bad service

In the land of bad quality-price hotels in Phi Phi, this one is in the top league. Sure the location is quite good but the whole experience of this hotel has left a sour taste for this over-populated (during CNY) yet beautiful island. We suffered from unclean sheets, sticky floor, toilet that didn't flush properly if at all... there are no windows in the corner room we had, except the one in the washroom. Grim.
Unless you're out of the room all day and night because you love to sightsee and then party I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Great service and clean well equipped room
New aircon machine in the room. Fridge was super cold unlike regular hotel rooms. Service was brilliant,sorted us out with excursions and transport back to krabi.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Dont miss out on the snorkeling, a half day will give you plenty of time to see the amazing underwater life on phi phi.

The view was incredible especially in the morning and waking up to the waves crash onto the shore is bliss. Basic room with toilet, but sure to bring your own towel for the beach because they only give you towels for the shower an strictly not for the beach. Only probably was really at night when loud music started pretty much right outside your room from the restaurant from the beach down below, but overall was a nice stay
