Good hotel!
Location, location, location
We stayed about a week at Phi Phi Don. It is literally off the pier, by a great place to get to the beaches/shops/restaurants. There's a 711 and a pharmacy right next door incase you need anything. Plus, we did some island-day hopping so being close to the pier was a bonus. Upgraded to a room with a sea view for a few extra a night, and it's definitely worth it! The room was clean and a good size but we were 3 people with an extra cot squeezed in. Even that was okay, with space for us to move around. This is a really good hotel if you don't want to do a dorm-hostel but you don't want to pay for a resort !

Great value for money
Location, clean, quiet
Considering how central the hotel is located (right where the pier is) it was very quiet and peaceful in our room. We stayed in a ocean view twin room on the top floor which had great views of the pier and town. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It's in walking distance to everything that is Phi Phi Island. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, acceptable standard
The hotel was fairly clean, decent sized room and in a great location.
Overall good. The staff weren't overly helpful but this is actually common in Thailand based on our experience. Not ride or anything, but it's not usually very helpful to ask them about sight seeing. Overall we were happy with our stay.

We Don't Reccomend
location, food.
Our room located in another building, first floor. Everyone from the street could had an access to our room!! The shower was very small, on the toilet, and the toilet paper got wet all the time! There was almost no water pressure in the shower. We got a poor, old TV. With a not-working remote control. The window wasn't fully close, so we had ants inside!! (After we complain the staff spray the area).

"music to my ears"
1. friendly staff 2. good location 3. nice size room
This was heaven as i moved from charlie hut. Fon on the reception was very friendly polite and helpful. The room was of a good size, and clean. Good location, between the beach and the main walking street of shops and restaurants. Only one downside, my room was on the 4th floor, but no lift. Would stay here again if visited Phi Phi again.

It really is only one minute walk from the pier.
Location, location, location
It's in a great location, about 300 metres/1 minute walk from the jetty. It's just set back off the road, enough so you're in the action but not listening to the music all night. The room gets nice and cold once the aircon has been on long enough. Check in/out times are very strict. Don't expect to organise an early check in or a late check out - you'll get a flat no. Actually, you can expect to get a blank stare, some time wasting and give up in frustration, but the end result is the same. You can use a towel and sit by the pool until your room is ready though. I think the hotels on Phi Phi in general need to smarten up regarding the boat times. Instead, they stick to standard hotel check in/out times. Phi Phi hotels also need to apply some logic when it comes to breakfast times - if they start at 6:30 have all staff there and ready for guests to be eating at 6:31am, not closer to 7am. A lot of the early morning tours start at 7am so you need to scoff what's available at 6:30am and race to the meet point for your tour. Perhaps a 6am start would make more sense. Unless you're in one of the more secluded bungalows that can only be accessed by boat this is a reasonable choice of accommodation, however overpriced it is - accommodation on Phi Phi is in general, especially considering their age. There's no lifts, no room service etc so slightly basic but in a great location. There's tonnes of shops, 7/11, tours, massage places etc directly out the front door. You can try ask for 2 room keys to be able to leave the aircon on but they're not given, so expect your room to be pretty hot when you return. I'd stay again if we're in Phi Phi again, but only because this is pretty much the best pick of a bad bunch and only because of it's fantastic location.

Good location, lots of stairs with no lifts!
Location, clean, value for money
Clean well located hotel, only issue really was on 5th floor with no lifts, dragging suitcases up and down in 35 degree heat is no fun, otherwise a good stay
