Beautiful hotel

Only problem I had was that the staff cooking the eggs during breakfast seems much happier serving westerners than asians which turned me off. Staff was not too friendly.
To be honest, most locals on Phi Phi seems to be more welcoming towards westerners. That's the only spot on an otherwise perfect holiday.
Restaurant Tip:
Cosmic Restaurant serves good and cheap food, western or thai. And there are two outlets with free wifi.

Totally acceptable, surprisingly nice high rise hotel. Not a luxury suite necessarily but a nice sized room, well maintained and central to most all we needed. Within short distance of the pier and most of Phi Phi. It was easy to catch a long tail or rent a kayak to go to other nearby islands or to other beaches on Phi Phi Don. Nice air conditioning in the room, clean, and as we were up a few floors it seemed we were spared the bugs and mosquitoes seen in many of the other places we had stayed. A decent, but rather crowded pool and a large restaurant that we never ate at besides the buffet that came along with our room. Breakfast was like most any other hotel and a bit of a feeding frenzy among the guests. Maybe a few more flies than I would and definitely lacking in selection for children who are on the picky side of things. I would happily stay here again but perhaps it is a bit overpriced for what we received and yet it was nice to have a clean, cool and safe place to come home to after a long day at the beach, Songkran and in general just a pretty relaxing spot. It was difficult to leave Phi Phi and we were hard pressed to find a better place to stay for the same price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a longtail to nearby Maya Beach, or Bamboo Island. Kayak to Monkey Beach but watch out for the aggressive monkeys!

Not Impressed with Phi Phi Hotel

I definitely was not impressed by this hotel. Water leaked out of our air conditioner and there was mold growing on the wall where the water leaked. During a storm water leaked into our room in buckets through the balcony. The air conditioner was not great and it was either way too cold or too hot. The front desk was very strict, bordering on accusatory, about signing out towels. Despite the relatively high price for this hotel, my husband still had to pay 150 Baht to use the gym at a sister property. This was by far the most expensive place we stayed during our 10 days in Thailand and the quality was the worst. I would not stay here again.

Older hotel in central location

Hotel is older looking with rooms decorated with items you might find at your grandmas house...plastic flowers and cheesy wallpaper. Beds are hard which is the norm for hotels in Asia. Otherwise the room was clean and the air con work well. View from our room was outstanding...better then I could have imagined when we booked the sea view room.
Location is perfect from the pier, just a short walk up the street and you are there which is a huge plus when it is hot out and you are carrying bags on your back.
Breakfast at the hotel was okay, your basic eggs, rice, noodles, fruit, pastry, etc. Hotel is close to everything so you can easily go out and get food and drink.
