the hotel nearby tonsai bay pier,one min can go to the pier.very comfortable seaview room. the swimming pool is to small. and the hotel is little far away too the beach. this is the scond times of I resided in this hotel,the hotel is nearby tonsai bay pier,one min can go to the pier.and the seaview room is very comfortable & so bit.but the swimming pool is too small.so I had not swimed in it. and the hotel is little far away to the beach.

location, price for value, good staff crumby breakfast(my husband got sick), way too much chlorine in the pool The Phi Phi Hotel was actually a good place to stay on Phi Phi Island. The staff was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable with good AC-a neccessity in Thailand. The location is excelllent-really close to the pier and in the middle of the village. It was great to be able to just pop in and out of our hotel on the way to anything. As with all Thai hotels, the beds and pillows are very hard. But the linens are nice and clean. My only real complaint is the breakfast. They had way too much cheap food. It would have been better to have less food of a better quality. My husband got sick right after eating breakfast on our last day. Luckily, a pharmacy was just steps from the hotel, so we got him fixed up quickly. I would definitely reccommend staying here especially if you are only here for a few days because the location is so good.
Restaurant Tip : Eat at Papaya for the best value and best Thai food in Phi Phi. But do not use the bathroom unless you have had many beers. Even then!!

Clean and friendly aircon box was slightly broken but worked fine This hotel is fab if you want a little luxuary in phi phi for a reasonable cost. It has a pool and the staff are really friendly. I would recommend this place to a friend.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are lots of diffrent trips you can book. We shopped arround and found the sunset trip - oridinal the best to go on to see phi phi lay 'the beach'.

cheap price, 2 minutes from pier, clean. very basic room, 5th floor with no elevator...
you only get 1 beach towel a day per person.
horrible view, very noisy. We ordered a mountain view room, since there were no sea view rooms available (booked 3 month in advance). the room overlooked a trash yard. Phi Phi does not look too good. the island's mosque is sooo loud! we heard it like a loud movie in our room, though the window was closed. 3 times a day.
the hotel is clean but not sparkling.
small pool gets crowded at times.
it's just really really basic, and this + the view + the noise made it totally unfit for our honeymoon.

Easy to locate. Great Value for the money. Breakfast was very good. Close to pier. Koh Phi Phi is a place everyone should visit once in their life. Phi Phi hotel is the most western standard accommodation on the island from what we could see. It is conveniently located near the pier, beaches and restaurants. It is located away from the nightlife which is good if you have an early morning and/or traveling w family. Nice communal areas to sit and lounge and have some drinks with friends. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you go to Koh Phi Phi make sure you take either a longtail or speedboat and do some snorkeling, or if you are into diving there are plenty of options for this as well. There are great seafood restaurants along the beach area and all well worth a visit.

Proximity to restaurants and shops, view, breakfast buffet, value Not directly on the beach, uncomfortable extra bed I think that this hotel is an overall good value for the cost. We booked it because it's very easy to access from the pier, and because it's close to the "action." It ended up being perfect for people who want to come and go from the island a lot, and for those who want to be near the shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel isn't directly on the beach like some of the other hotels were, but the convenience of not having to take a boat back and forth from our hotel made up for that. It wasn't difficult to go to a beach when we wanted to.
True, there is no elevator, but that shouldn't be a problem for most people. I requested a high floor through Agoda, and we were given a room on the top (5th) floor. The view was worth the stairs!
Our only real complaint with this hotel was the extra bed put in our room (we booked a 3 person room). The mattress was very thin and terribly uncomfortable. The extra bed ended up in the corner the whole time, with two of us squished into a twin bed.

Breakfast rather poor but acceptable The building is ugly and a little bit overpriced and you may prefer a location in the nature, but if you have heavy baggage and little time to spend in the island, the location is absolutely perfect, as it is 3 minutes walking from the pier and restaurants. Good staff friendliness and cleanlinessy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Several boat drivers in the streets offering tours. Compare prices before choosing, there is room for bargains.

Central and close to everything. We found the hotel clean, friendly and with a very good location. Close to the pir, restaurants, shopping and beach.Perfect if you want to go for excursions and if you need to travel early in the morning. The breakfast buffe was great with a lot to choose from.

Got to the best hotel in Phi Phi! It was very clean and the breakfast was great. It is only a 3 minute walk from the pier! No lifts so you have to get the porter to get them to you room or carry them yourself. You are not allowed visitors in your room after 10pm! Find the hotel was not problem and the people at the pier and more than happy to tell you what paths to take. When you get to the hotel, you see it is undoubtedly the best on the island. There are loads of places to eat and drink. The pubs have loads of parties and they go on for hours and hours. The beaches are great and clean and spent most of the days there on them as there are plenty of places to lunch out right next to you. I would certainly go back to this hotel with hesitating but would go for longer next time. The boat from Phuket was good and does not take too long either.
Restaurant Tip : Get round to the back street and you find some really good Thai places.

Central location on TonSai Bay, close to the Pier, excellent breakfast, home away from home. Thin wall or perhaps my neighbor's snoring is too loud. Good quality western style hotel and courteous staffs.
Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel will not match internet rate for extra night on the spot, book outside the hotel via internet as there are no PC in hotel.

Perfect service, beautiful oceanview, close to the pier and the shopping area. Ants in the room at the fifth floor. We loved the oceanview we had from our room. One minute walk to the beach. The shoppingarea were just around the corner. Close to everything you need. A peaceful place for shopping and dining. Easy to go on trips when the pier is just a minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good. A pleasant stay!
