Location, friendly staff, value (for Phi Phi) We checked into our room 2 hours before check in time and were greeted by a fantastic view of the port and islands. The hotel is perfect for people staying for a shorter time on Phi Phi. Our air conditioning was not able to cool the room over night adequately. The breakfast is OK and the pool is perfect after a hot day sight seeing. The hotel does seem to have many many rules, which was amusing more than a hinderance. I would stay again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : DO NOT MISS Maya bay beach.

location (away from night noise), breakfast Nice hotel with friendly staff.Pool was small & lacked sunbeds.Breakfast had a good selection & opened early enough to accomodate diving trips etc.Room was large, shower excellent, small balcony.Luggage service to pier available. No internet available & on phi phi the cost in most shops is 2b a minute, compared to 0.5 b a minute on Phuket.

very close to the pier, nice big rooms, and tsunami safe place for the island. 5/10 mins away from all the bars and restaurants lots of stairs to climb but otherwise a lovely place to stay the hotel was very nice and a welsome bit of luxury whilst backpacking. it is not far from the beach (2/3 min walk and a 5 min walk to the bars and restaurants. staff were friendly and helpful.

near the pier, quiet, nice view I find Phi Phi hotel very nice but I don't recommend this for people who hates going up the stairs. It is very near the pier and walking distance to everything. It's quiet cuz it's far enough not to hear the noise from pubs but close enough to enjoy shopping, drinking, and swimming.
Restaurant Tip : Ton sai and their shrimp curry...

the location and the facilities are great the pool is too small and in a bad location a very nice hotel in the center of ko phiphi.
very clean and beutiful, great location and great staff.
great value for money.
the breakfast is nice and has alot of to chose from.
go for the highest floors the view from the room is worth climbing the stares, keep in mind that the hotel doesnt have an elevator! but the climb isnt so bad at all.
in conclusion a great place to stay in ko phiphi west for a descent price.

clean rooms, good location the rooms were clean and comfortable, th location is good.
the price was a bit high, but koh phi phi is much more expensive than other parts of thailand.
the staff wasn't friendly and treated us like we ask to much (when we asked for towel). no elevator and there r 5 flors.

The location is good, right next to the pier. The food is not bad, the rooms are good and comfortable. The staff service was poor and unrespectful to such a place. Our safe was attached to the wall and when I asked the receptionist to take a look, she told me (in lousy english) that I'm the only one with the key, afterwards just turned her back on me and left. So rude I couldn't believe it. The service was really bad all along, made us feel very unwelcome, especially that incident. Bottom line: the facilities are not bad, the location was good, but even so, the staff service was so unwelcoming, lousy and unpleseant, that I would never go back there again or even think about telling friends to come. Walking away while a guest is speaking to you, in such ugly way, was something I would never put up with. That was crossing the line.
I wouldn't go there again, that's for sure.

Unbelievable views from some of the rooms.
Very clean and well kept hotel.
Less than 200 yards from the pier yet quiet No lift (don't go if you cant manage stairs of have small children that need carrying)
Breakfast relatively poor
No free WiFi
If you have access to the public balcony your privacy can be invaded if you don't keep the curtains drawn. So convenient. You step off the boat and in less than 200 yards of flat walking you are at the hotel. Clearly visible hotel sign from the jetty as you land. I walked straight there without directions or getting lost. Very clean and well kept hotel. My room was so clean and 'new' that I thought it had only just been built but told by staff it was 8 years old.
My room was top floor. 60 steps without a lift! Exhausting but I never resented it as the view from the room was the best sea/island view I have ever seen or could ever wish for. Room 502 is top floor and on the front corner with access to a private (front) and public balcony (side). French windows on two sides overlooking sea on both sides.
Pool was adequate. Breakfast poor, but it was low season.
One major point - if you have a disability that limits your use of stairs, or if you have small kids that need carrying up stairs, then I would advise going elsewhere. If not, go for it - this is a really good hotel.

Not so great breakfast I spent only one day on phi phi hotel on my honeymoon. I would have stayed a lot longer if there were available rooms. The hotel location is great and the rooms are nice (but not fancy...). To sum things up, we had a positive experience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : don't book a long boat for visiting the surrounding islands, but a speed boat.

the hotel was in an excellent location, it was very clean, the staff were very very freindly and helpful and they gave free towels for the pool or beach every day phi phi hotel is in an excellent location. the rooms were big and very clean. there was a hair dryer and clean towels every day. we had a nice balcony and a lovely view out on to the beach. the staff were very frindly and helpful.the pool was very nice but there was only about four or five chairs around it and no umbrellas. the hotel didnt have a bar or a mini bar which would have been nice. also our room was on the third floor and there is no lift. apart from that very goodvalue for money
Nightlife Tip : thai boxing at the reggae bar was good fun

Phi Phi Hotel is just in walking distance from phi-phi peer Unfortunately, there is no elevator to take guests to their rooms .. since we were staying on the 5th floor During our stay on 22-23 august 2009, I think Phi Phi hotel is a perfect budget hotel for travelers who just want to taste one night excitement on Phi-Phi island and its surroundings. Located only walking distance to Phi-Phi peer the hotel is surrounded by many travel agent that will help you in arranging your trip to maya bay by speed boat or any other boat (Depending on your budget), or arranging your next ferry to phuket or krabi.
There is a very beautiful beach located just behind the hotel .. and you don't have to worry bout finding places to eat, there are plenty of restaurant serving thai or western food with great taste even though the price is more expensive rather than on Ao nang beach. Overall Phi Phi hotel has become a part of our wonderful honeymoon.

A good location, right next to the pier. The hotel didn't have a lift. This can be a nightmare if you are on one of the higher floors, especially if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel wasn't bad at all. As I was only staying in Phi Phi for one night I just took a fairly standard room, which was all right. But I remember the bathroom and shower being fairly basic. But some of the rooms do have lovely views. The hotel is looking a bit old and could do with some renovation. Also, as previously mentioned there wasn't a hotel, so probably not ideal for elderly.
