Great, but noisy!
great pool area with pool side food and drink service. Comfortable rooms, great views of the water from the top level. Service was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel at a good rate. Comfotable facilities and far enough away from the main throb of Phi Phi, but really accessible to main streets and pier.
We had to move rooms due to the noise bouncing back from the nightclubs across the bay. Terrible doof, doof until 2am! We moved rooms but still had some noise. Recommend a room set back from the water side of the hotel (within the curved aspect).
Decent breakfast buffet, enough to get the day started!
Aside from the noise, we had an enjoyable stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
4 island tour was fantastic. Maya bay was beautiful and the snorkelling was amazing.

The hotel itself is in a great location. It is in the middle of the island and we could walk every where and catch a long tail boat on both sides. The pool was wonderful.Hotel key was confusing to insert in wall to turn on electricity as it had nothing indicating it was up or down. We never ate at the hotel as there was plenty of other restaurants on the main bar. The hotel was great at setting up our departure ferry back to Phuket.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Phi Phi Lay is a definate sightseeing attraction.

location of hotel in relation to centre of town, pool, rooms were nice.

overall we really enjoyed the stay an felt it was one of the better places to stay in phi phi island, but there were a few drawbacks i would have liked to know before we got there. there is only one pool, not two as they state. There is no internet access available and the gym equiptment is old and minimal with no aircon at all. The internet isnt a big deal as there are heaps of places in town you can find it, and one pool is still better than none - but i dont like that they misrepresent themselves as having more than they do. The rooms were very nice to stay in and the service was generally good.
We had problems with reception being difficult regarding some things. they tried to make us change rooms three of the four days we were there for reasons that didnt make sense. nothing came of it in the end, but the argument each time was draining. We also had issues with the bill and they tried to claim we had not paid for the final nights accomodation like we had. I did also hear of a few patrons who were charged for things in their mini bar they didnt use. i think if you are on top of your paperwork though this can mostly be avoided. We would still look at staying there again if we came back to phi phi.

Overall i would come back and consider staying here again - i checked out some of the other places in the same location in town and still think we had a very nice one, but there were a few drawbacks. They said they had internet and a second pool - both of which they didnt. They also tried to charge me for something i had already paid for and were difficult in trying to work with me to correct the situation. The pool was a great thing to have despite the water temperature being very warm to very hot at times.

The location is really good, the deluxe room is also spacious.

We really enjoyed our stay in Phi Phi Island Cabana Hotel. It was just a 5-15 minutes walked to many restaurants, shops and other groceries. The view from the swimming pool was also adorable, we could see the beach in front. However, unfortunately the room price was quite expensive. It also has a quite high additional charge (800 Baht) for each person who stayed in the room. So, we spent quite a lot during our stay in Phi Phi Island.
Shopping Tip:
you should good at bargains, the prices can be quite expensive if you do not bargain with the sellers.

Best Location on the Island

I would use this hotel again. The location simply is the entire selling point here. The property fronts and backs to the ocean. It's a 2 minute walk from the ferry to your hotel.
It's far enough away from downtown that you don't get the noise or traffic that may be distractive. You simply can't beat the view. One down side is the ferrys and long boats park in front and are an unattractive look for this flawless location. You can tell the management isn't very good as they are letting the hotel get old and not doing much to supply the services you would expect from a hotel of this quality or price. I had to call twice to get maid service, which I was told both times would be there immediately. It came 3 hours later around 5 o'clock. They just tell you something to get you off the phone and go on as if you never called.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The views and snorkeling are really unbeatable. There isn't much of a nightlife. This is a romantic quiet place.

The phi phi island cabana resort was a beautiful resort with an outstanding location near the main part of town. It was a close walk to all the restaurants and shops, but you still felt isolated enough to relax. The rooms were spacious and clean and the pool was the largest of all the resorts during our stay in Thailand. It was a close walk from the ferry terminal, but very quiet and private.

Koh Phi Phi Cabana Island Resort

When arriving the 'habor' of Koh Phi Phi island it is only a 2 minutes walk from there to the hotel. Someone was waiting for us to bring our luggage to the hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Our room was tidy and clean and the view to the sea was stunning and very breathtaking.
Breakfast and Snacks at the pool were very good and tasty.
Unfortunately there is no Spa to go to, but it is possible to get a massage at the pool or in the room.
