This was the perfect place to stay! Great rooms with great views. The location was awesome. You are far enough away from the loud party for it not to bother you, but close enough for a $100 baht per person taxi boat to take you to it when you want a more lively scene. There is a great bar right next to the hotel with good drinks and fire shows. Everyone is really nice. The only down side to this resort is the breakfast buffet. It is bad. But everything else makes up for it so much that I would stay here again.

i've been reading some of the reviews for this hotel before booking here. most of them say this hotel is not worth the money but i had a different experience. location was perfect and close to the pier, bars and market. since we are heavy packers and always jumping around it was very convenient for us to book nearby the pier and the shops but still not sacrificing the serenity of the beach. we had a nice view of the pool and the cove from our room. the hotel and facilities were old but it still works for us. the breakfast was one of the best we had in thailand as well, offering bacons and fried rice. the staff were so nice, the receptionist even accompanied us to the room and suggested a simple activity for one of our lazy afternoons. the pool is a must try. don't let the exterior design of the hotel fool you, the inside is great but then again it's old. oh, there are no elevators!
Shopping Tip:
located near the pier so technically at the end of the shopping area. get a map from the reception and get lost around the streets of phiphi, we walked around and reached viewpoint for sunset to end our journey then went down to have dinner and drinks.

If you want to stay in Phi Phi as a couple retrieve, stay far away from the tourist market, otherwise you will be pumping with the music until 2am.
The only positive thing about the hotel was Mister Been (he likes the nickname and it fits him perfectly), that guy was a lot of help and always helping with a big smile. He made the service not being that crappy.
Restaurant Tip:
Food is usually good in the island. Just walk in the tourist market and scan all the restaurant. More or less all the prices are the same and the fact is that as good as the restaurant looks, the food will be as good as that.

This is one of the nicest hotels on Phi Phi Island. Rooms are a good size and clean, although a little bit dated. Phi Phi Island lives up to its reputation as a party island. The main town area is very compacted and filled with boozing backpackers. At night, techno music from the Ao Nang beach bars will echo around the bay so light sleepers be warned. Overall, nice hotel with very helpful and courteous staff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Charter a long tail boat to take you to e surrounding beaches/islands for about 1500 baht. Recommend going early in the morning before the crowds fill in. Great snorkeling around Phi Phi Lay island. also very cool to see the difference between high/low tide on the Ao Nang bay side of the island. For Americans missing a taste of home, try GB PP a burger bar with great food, friendly staff and free wifi.

near the harbour, walk about 5 minutes. the room facilities are too outed. TV set is CRT type, has less channel. the shower supply is not fresh water, just disposed sea water. Pool is nice and large, beside it there are a few lounges. stay it, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea view.

The room is nothing special... mosquitoes in and out of ceiling but otherwise the room was clean. The view was amazing from the pool and the staff was friendly. I wouldn't say you get what you pay for on this one because it's pretty pricey just for the convenience of being right on the ocean.

Phi Phi Island Cabana Hotel is located in a great area and has an amazing pool. The layout of the hotel is nice as well. Upon our arrival on the ferry, we were met by someone working at the hotel who brought our luggage in for us. This hotel is far enough from the craziness of the beach parties that you are not a part of them if you don't want to be, however sometimes it gets a little loud due to the echoes. The condition of the rooms was fine... but outdated and very uncomfortable beds. The shower in our room broke while we were there! But, we didn't spend much time in the room so it was fine. The lobby has an activities desk that you can book various activities at and that was a major plus.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Definitely check out the cabana where you can get massages! The girls working there are so nice and great at what they do.
