Great hotel with perfect location and views
Beautiful pool and easy access from the ferry

we arrived at the phi phi cabana and wow, the views from the reception area fantastic and the pool views breathtaking. as phi phi is not that big everthing was close by, including convenience stores and food. if you like to sit on the beach and relax this is the place for you !
Hotel Feature Tip:
Be careful of the seaside rooms, you will hear the beachfront nightclubs bass all night - This goes for all accommodations on the north side of the island !!

Wonderful beach restaurant

the hotel was good although it did seem in need of maintenance. the facilities were good but they could earn more money if they had proper management, staff were good but not very attentive. if they were more proactive they would sell more food and drink around the bar. however, the restaurant on the beach was fantastic and staff were exceptional. we ate in the restaurant 3 nights due to the great food and the attentive staff. brilliant evenings with live entertainment.
the staff in the health suite were wonderful, very good and knowledgable in their trade. it was extremely relaxing having a massage and was a great end to the day.
overall, the hotel, staff and facilities were very good. in would recommend this hotel

Great location and view
on the beach, next to everything

Had a great time in this nice hotel. It was situated next to everything and was on the beach. It was not quite new but still accepteable. Got a great offer so cannot be dissapointed. Biggest gripe was boat timetables to phuket because had to change my flight to later one so next time i will look tome before buying my flights.

Great location - No so great hotel

The hotel is located right at the heart of the island, within walking distance to everything! Amazing views of the beaches and the jetty, and far enough from all of the noise of the party areas.
This was our first time at Phi Phi and we stayed at the Cabana Hotel for 3 night on our honeymoon. This, we thought, was our 'splurge' accommodation for the trip - but we were very wrong.
Don't be fooled by the pictures - this hotel is old and run down and is definately not maintained! The rooms were quite small (in comparisson to other places we had stayed at in Thailand) and very out-dated.
We didn't even go swimming in the pool as there was a thick layer of black 'scum' on the bottom of the pool which was a massive dissapointment. The pool looked as if it had never been cleaned.
On the upside - the staff were lovely and very helpful, and the breakfast each morning was great!
All in all the hotel is quite overpriced and the photos definately don't paint the correct picture of what the hotel looks like!
I haven't stayed at any other hotel on Phi Phi Island so I can't really make a fair comparisson, but I would definaetly not book in to stay at Phi Phi Cabana Hotel again.
Restaurant Tip:
The hotel restaurant outside the hotel on the water (on the pier side of the Island) does amazing food! The staff are lovely and the food is great - would highly recommend!

It was one of the best hotel in the island, with good acomodations, great buffet continental breakfast, big swiming pool and good location (near the pear from one side and near the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel in phi phi.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Wake up before 10:00 a.m. to make it to breakfast!!!

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

Hotel is wonderfull. Very quite place to stay and relax. walkable distance for dining/shopping place. Its is on the beach very convinient. very good swimming pool. but rooms are very small especially bathrooms.

We stayed in this hotel for one night only, so basically the only good thing I can say is location, all other things like rooms, staff performance and food was bad. Hotel is too expensive for the quality you get and food is so bad. Rooms are very small and badly needs renovation. This hotel has quite big swimming pool and good access to the beach, these are the only two things I don't have complaints. I would never stay in this hotel again.

So sad a hotel in a idealic position

Dont be fooled by the photos, this hotel is very sad. Lots of potential but the up-keep, staff attitudes, cleanliness are very bad. The room was dated and the shower screen fallen off, TV must have been made in the 1990's. The staff were grumpy and not at all interested in working. The pool area was a mess with the pool-towel staff asleep, no-one cleaned and tidied the pool surrounds with wet towels, used glasses and old food, littering the surrounds all day. Such potential but poor management supervision and staff motivation at the high prices charged put this place at the botton af any choice.
