Bad hospitality and fasilities

No lift, no bathtub, very tiny bathroom. Smelled and mouldy blankets, dirty bath towel. Terrible breakfast.
Very bad services. Staff refused to pick up our 4 large luggages from the pier exit to gate. Its only about 20m. But if you show them you will pay tips, their attitude changed immediately.
The reception lady always had a very cold face and keep mentioning you have to pay additional internet fees and blah blah, like you owe her money. Wifi is not free and charged by about 200THB/hours. (Other hotels are free.)
Most of housekeepers can not speak English. If you want anything like a dry towel, you may have to walk to the reception and show them what you want in person.

the room was very good, the dining room for breakfast is outside - consider using mosquito repellent before you go. when you arrive at the island and get of the ferry, there are a lot of taxi drivers offering you a ride to the hotel. there's no need for this - you can just walk to the hotel, 5 minutes by foot. take a massage at the Tonsai Thai massage, very good treatment.

take the seven island trip, nice snorkeling and beautiful beaches

The location of the hotel is very advantageous. It is very close to the pier, just a 2 minutes walk. It is in a very quiet location. But beach and all activities you would like to do are very close. All shops, restaurants and bars are about 5 minutes walk away.
The hotel is in general in good conditions and the outsides are very spacious. The pools are very nice.
The rooms are ok, a bit dark and small.
The service is not that great, but the breakfast had nice variety.

phi phi was the first stop we made in thailand, and after seeing a lot of places, this is one of the best places we've been at for a couple. great room, ok food (not bad, but not that good), good location (the whole island is small so it doesn't really matter), good service and great facilities (pool is great). much recommended.
Restaurant Tip:
There are alot great places to eat outside, don't go to the ones on the beach with fish at the front, they are very touristic and very bad value for money.

Great Location and that's about it

staff greeted us right on the ferry dock to escort us to the hotel. hotel is situation right near the main shops and restaurants but far enough away. interiors were very old as other reviews had stated. our room looked out onto the bay with such a lovely view. we had a rat in the walls of our room so sleeping was tough and we were thankful it was only one night. warning, there is also a beach party almost every night on the bay so bring earplugs if you want to get any sleep.

Better then Expected -

I was traveling alone and decided that I would stay in Ko Phi Phi for a few days. The room they gave me was great it opened up to the ocean great view. This is was such a good stay I extended it before taking the boat to Krabi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent the personal boat to Maya Bay its 1500baht and was the highlight of my trip. Just awesome.
