Except for the resort managers, the staff was struggling with English sometimes. Make sure that you communicate clearly, otherwise you may not get what you're expecting.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you stay with Phi Phi Island Village, make sure that you book the trip to Bamboo Island (additional costs) - this is truly a "must see" beach. You also should visit the Thai fusion Restaurant.

If you want to go to a very quiet place, go to the Village. If you want to shop and have some "noisy" night life, go to Tong Sai bay.

A great stay, and some might complain about the noise but you know what? At this price it is a bargain and I was sad when leaving.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Trip (snorkelling) to Phi Phi Ley (maya bay "the beach"), bamboo island etc.

If you would like to enjoy some private and relax time, this is the place. If money is not a concern, definitely stay here for at least 2 nights, enjoy the beach. Any special arrangement can be made through hotel. If you are looking for parties and crowd, this is definitely NOT the place.

Very quiet village to rear of resort, and very isolated beach as well, Loh Lana bay, make sure you check it out.

Nice for a couple of days, just to enjoy that fabulous beach.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a long tail taxi to take you snorkelling to nearby islands.

We took a long tail boat to Phi Phi islands, it was an amazing trip, we booked through the resort and it was reasonably priced. Tonsai is not worth a visit at all, maybe if you want food supplies but the resort gift shop is very reasnoble for food, drinks and little souvenirs as well.

Having traveled in all parts of the world, Phi Phi Island was the best place I've ever been too. A must see. Just rent a long tail boat for the entire day and you'll understand. This beauty cannot be matched. The pictures online don't do it justice enough.
Restaurant Tip : Don't eat at the hotel. Too expensive. Just walk down the path at the end of the beach to the small shops for some of the best food.
