They picked you up from the pier and escorted you to the hotel which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and modern as the pictures showed on the internet. The indiviudal (Andrew) at the main desk was very nice and friendly.

In the bathrooms, there is not a shower curtain or door, so it could get a bit wet on the floor if you are not careful.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Andrew the manager was very friendly and helpful during our stay. the rooms were clean and modern, just as advertised on the internet. The rooms were also quite big in comparison to some of the other rooms we stayed in while in thailand.

very clean hotel. good rooms and a very friendly staff

hard to find the hotel, could be due to it being a new hotel

this was a new hotel and was really well finished and for what you be paying for it is quality. is about 2 mins from the beach where you go in the morning for your breakfast. the staff where friendly and extremely helful. you are only around the cornor from jordans irish bar and the reggae reggae bar where there is thai boxing every night. the rooms where great and there might have only been 6 rooms in the whole hotel so it was not noisy at night. great hotel brilliant island

we absolutely loved phi phi for the 3 nights we stayed and the palms residence was great value for money, nice rooms, brilliant hospitality and service went above and beyond. will def look to stay there again one day. thanks again to the palms residence.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : we did our open water dive course through viking divers who were really professional and thorough. loved it! also the dive sites at phi phi are where the dive boats gop from krabi if the conditions are good so phi phi is def the best place to dive. try and have a sunset/beer/cocktail at the sunflower bar at the end of loh dalem beach. very chilled cruisy joint. our advice. kick back and enjoy phiphi. heaven!

Location between Loh Dalam and Tonsai Bay, free (slow) wifi.

No attempt at mosquito control, dirty towels, rocky springy bed, broken towel rack.

Not a bad hotel, but I have stayed at much higher quality places in Thailand for less. First thing I noticed in entering was the swarm of mosquitoes flying everywhere. I literally killed 20-30 by hand and sprayed the area with Raid to ensure that I could sleep in peace. Wasn't pleased to see blood that wasn't not mine explode out in killing a few, either. Also wasn't pleased to see towels folded for me on the bed with a stain clearly on top. Other than that, was slightly annoyed that the only towel rack was broken. The WiFi is free but slow. Overall the best part of this hotel is the location.

Hotel Feature Tip : Make sure you buy a bottle of Raid to prep your room against mosquitoes. Otherwise expect to wake up with a hundred itchy bites. The dinky plugin thing they give you does nothing.

Friendly helpful host, good location in the middle of the 'action'.

Absolutely overpriced, hot water unit didn't work on first day (got replaced during our stay though), bathroom as a whole is not much to rave about, breakfast was not clearly explained and appeared to be in a dodgy beach shack that seemed closed when we went there. Place is basically a guest house and should be priced accordingly (500 - 800 baht a night).

The overall experience in this place was not great, we had to wait on arrival, place is simply overpriced and did not meet our expectations. Futhermore, the island itself did not quite live up to our expectations (or its reputation) either and this made the whole experience rather poor. Despite this, the host/manager was very friendly and helpful.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Phi Phi is definitely no longer the secluded tropical paradise island it once may have been. If you are looking for a few party nights in a backpacker kind of enviroment, I would recommend it, otherwise, there are better destinations to visit.

Location at the edge of the centre of the village, excellent staff

Internet signal was a bit weak/intermittent in our room (at the end of the ground floor corridor), but it was free wifi.

My husband and I had a great stay at Phi Phi Palms Residence. The staff were very helpful, particularly as my husband had to go to hospital in Phuket due to a bout of Dengue Fever. We were able to re-arrange our stay to a few days later than originally intended. The location of the hotel is on a side street opposite the 007 Bar which features in the Lonely Planet.

Restaurant Tip : A good nearby restaurant is Ciao Bella (semi-expensive), and for cheap eats, the Mexican restaurant across the road from the hotel is pretty good - any unfinished drinks can be taken upstairs to the 007 Bar if you want to watch a movie.

Prime location, 2 min walk to the beach, and right in the middle of all the hub, great bars and resturants. Good 24 hr desk/reception watch.

A bit noisy at night (but what you have to expect for staying in the centre of it all)

This is a perfect place to stay for young adults, its cheap, very clean, with loads of space. Right by all the bars and partys. Free Breakfast on the beach front too.... perfect!

Nightlife Tip : Reggae bar is a must, very entertaining!!

New and modern.

Very, very loud. There was a water pump outside our room and it made noise all night. The hotel was in the middle of several bars and the noise didn't stop all night. Also, people working there smoked in the lobby and it came through the vents of the room.

The hotel itself was very cute and nice but the walls were way too thin and made sleeping or just being in the room difficult. The staff the first night was pleasant and seemed to want to please us but said we had the best room in the place, even though it was quite loud. It was close to everything, the beach and good food. Phi Phi is a party place so we understood all the noise but think the hotel could have done a lot more to make it a little quieter and more pleasant in general.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel is close to several great beaches and the Phi Phi viewpoint.
