relax is the word, lovely beach at your doorstep, tours depart and organized from the resort...downside is no power in the daytime,and no hot water for a shower,......but who needs that in paradise......

Excellent snorkeling, quiet, clean
There are many pros: super-friendly staff, excellent snorkeling (better than on our speed boat trip), beautifull beach, not so many people on the beach, clean rooms and very good food.

some comments:
food is excellent, but on the pricey side (fried rice 150-180, curry soup with rice 210-240, cocktail 200, small beer 70, big water 50).
some extras are not free, like transfer between harbour and resort (150/one way)
there are rocks in the water at low tide, thus it is difficult to enter the water. we had some tight fitting crocs that proved extra-useful for stepping over rocks at low tide.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Booking the coral bungalow is a bit of a gamble. Two out of about six are not actualy on the beach, they just have rocks in front of them so you can't get to the water. Getting to the beach requires either jumping over big rocks, either going around two or three bungalows. result: you may find yourself further away from the beach in a coral bungalow than in a regular one that is much cheaper.

Secluded beach resort with basic clean huts.
Good snorkeling just offshore, good food. A bit of island paradise.

Reasonably priced and friendly staff. I did a kind of meditative/snorkeling retreat, which worked well at this out of the way spot. The massages are xlent!

Lovely Hotel and Service with a smile

My complaints here were the mosquitoes in the room and no electricity between ~6am till 6pm. The beds were very uncomfortable, pillows like rocks and the beach was all sharp rocks and dead coral.

this was by far and away the best segment of our holiday. 3 days at phi phi relax was not quite enough in the end but every moment of our stay was thoroughly enjoyed. the sunrises, the very quiet beach, the high tide swimming and the ever smiling staff ensured my partner spent her birthday in the best possible way. thank you to thi and all of the staff, we will be back.

no hot water. electricity available after 6pm. fish is not available everyday. the traffic cost is higher than the other hotels on the island since you need to take hotel boat or taxi boat to anywhere. but it's quite nice to have the private beach of the hotel. staff are very nice and friendly. wifi is available at the lobby area.

The situation is exceptional

We were looking for relaxing days after being in Bangkok and Chiang Mai visiting temples and cities all the day. We found it the best option for relaxing and disconnecting since you are isolated (there's only the hotel nothing else).The bungalows are integrated with the flora and fauna and they are so cute, made of wood and bamboo (there's only electricity after 6h and there's no hot water but it's easy to manage it). There's also a good point for snorkelling in front of the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel offers different kind of trips to make snorkelling in different points of the islands and sightseeing. It is really worthly!

We stayed at Phi Phi Relax for 2 nights and wished we could stay longer. Situated on the quieter side of Phi Phi, it is an idyllic paradise of jungle and beach. The resort really lives up to it's name and offers the perfect place to relax and soak up the surrounding beauty. The staff offered excellent service and were always friendly and welcoming. We splashed out and got the Coral Bungalows on the beach, which were worth every cent: waking up to the sounds of the waves lapping merely metres from your balcony and the sun streaming through the windows. The rooms were clean and neatly kept. Excellent food. Definitely worth returning for. The highlight of our holiday! Thank you Phi Phi Relax!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Definitely do the snorkeling trip. It's an underwater paradise out there!

This hotel was amazing. Very clean, super friendly stuff. The right place to relax in heaven away from all the partying buzz in the village. Just take a book and relax at the beach front bungalow.

Take the one day trip to the 4 islands on the long boat. it's lovely!

This is an amazing hotel that is right on crystal blue water where u are a couple of feet from the water. The room was great, service was fantastic and food and drinks were not only cheap but very good. No complaints what so ever!
