Amazing food, great staff, great views, adventurous (electricity after 6pm only!), secluded, total and uncompromising relaxation.
The massage was amazing and cheap. Food and other basic goods naturally not as expensive as on more central locations, but not that bad either. Loved every minute of it. Needed a total relaxation and the place was it. Quiet at all times. Some "entertainment" after dinner sometimes but that was all. It was one of the most memorable experiences in a hotel I've had in my life.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are a lot of tours around Phi Phi Leh and other diving spots. Getting them arranged through the hotel is EXPENSIVE but it's well worth the trouble of going to town, etc.

Perfect location! The best Thai food I have had in months of traveling. Beautiful place to relax. Not being able to pay by credit card. Wish there was electricity for a little longer each day. This is paradise! Our bungalow was just a few feet from the water. There is a beautiful front porch from which we could watch the sunrise. The restaruant is really excellent, which is nice because there is only one place to eat. We didn't want to go anywhere else. The water was clear and warm.
Restaurant Tip : Try the Thai soups at the hotel - they are wonderful!

An exclusive beautiful Beach. Most of the facilities are very Basic A very pleasant Resort with exclusive Beach. Resort can be reached by Boat and this gives a feeling that one is stranded but this drawback is very well overcome by the location and its white sand and blue water beach. It is an excellent rustic atmosphere enjoyable resort.
Hotel Feature Tip : Ferry to Hotel is by the Hotel arrangement and can be a little problematic.

- No TV, no boiler for hot water, cold water shower It was a rainy day, and we couldn’t do much on the beach, most of the time we just stay in the hotel and the only restaurant from the hotel. Breakfast is not included. 100 bath for cornflakes with milk and banana. Thai food is tasty. Generally all staffs are friendly with good English speaking. We end up sleep very early as it keeps raining. The room is very sandy, even is on the bed, we feel very uncomfortable. Giant mosquito is everywhere especially in the restaurant. Variety of fish can be seen when you swim near the beach area but all corals is dead.

Phi Phi Relax is awesome! If you are visiting the Phi Phi Islands, there is no other place to stay but at Phi Phi Relax. It is located on a remote part of the island and is very quiet and peaceful. The resort is outstanding in every way. The bungalows are clean and spacious and the grounds are beautiful. The staff is simply amazing. There is plenty to do or you can do nothing at all! You can get to the resort by taking a boat to/from the ferry pier (check their website for more details, it was very reasonable) or you can hike over the mountains to get there (which I did and it was a cool journey). I wish I could have stayed there much longer. It's that kind of place. A little slice of heaven on earth. Highly suggest!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take their Bamboo Island trip, it's worth it!

Located in the middle of paradise! Coral reef in the beach, great nature around and spectacular views from the Bungalows!
The beach is really clean. Don’t have electricity during the day. The Bungalow rates seem cheap but then you have to pay for the bottled water, lunch, dinner, breakfast, transport, …
They don’t make up the rooms. When I asked for that their answer was that they only make up once every three days!! Woooh!
Prices of food, drink, etc.. are high. They take advantage of that so if you want buy something only you can do there!
Take care with the Italian guy who is acting manager! He is arrogant, rude and unhelpful. He is more concerned with flirting with the hotel native girls to serve their guests. And the worst is that he is always attempting to get you money, whenever possible! You don’t have to pay the first trip to the hotel but he’ll try that you pay for it! And please, if you go there, check carefully the bill! TAKE CARE!!
If you don’t know, Koh Phi Phi is one of the best islands in Thailand but there are no roads or pads. If you are looking for party, shopping, restaurants,,, live! You must stay in town (Ton Sai bay) !!! Otherwise, the only transport you have will be Taxi-boat and you’ll have to pay 800bath for each trip (you can get for 400bath at day and 700 at night)!
That said, Phi Phi Relax resort is located far away from Ton Sai and the resort is in the middle of nothing so the only way you have to moving around the island is by Taxi Boat. If you are looking for extreme Relax, sun, nature, coral reef, … and don’t care sleeping in only just bungalows, without TV, air, WITHOUT electricity (only during the night) and don’t care that they don’t include bottled water in the room, that room is cleaned only once every three days, and you are willing to pay a part for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the same resort, Phi Phi relax is your place! Otherwise, I recommend choosing another hotel in Ton Sai, or another hotel where the staff is more honest.

Good food,nice accomodations, superb friendly people
only electricity in the evenings (but on daytime are on the beach.. so no big problem) Great resort, much better than the other side of the island! good food, nice beach, really nice people that help you with everything! Only positive remarks! This resort gives you the ultimate relax holiday feeling!!

the rooms have no lux, but in paradise is no lux so :) I think this is one of the best hotels on Phi Phi. Everybody is so relax and the staff is great. The location is very nice, if you walk to the center you'll do it in 40 minutes MAX. But its a nice walk because it's true the jungle. I would stay here again, and im only 23 :-) The boottaxi at night is 800 BTH, but then again, paradise has his little price :)

relaxing, great food, out of the way, scenic spot some construction was going on this was a very beautiful environment that would best be enjoyed as a couple. there are a few children... however, it was one of the loveliest places in Thailand i went to.

nice bungalows, hidden away location, lovely staff, good facilities low tide brings a very rocky beach (un-swimmable due to urchines), food prices are higher than any other island we visited (but i hear this is a phi phi thing, not necesarily just relax) Phi Phi Relax is certainly relaxing, a beautiful location with very friendly and helpful staff. the bungalows are nice and clean, perfect for laying on the front deck and looking over the water, wasting the day away reading a book. we went in low season so there were only about ten bungalows filled each day, so it wasn't too crowded. good massage, big enough menu to eat every meal for a few days and not get bored, wonderful swimming at high tide, you can even see Nemo (Clown Fish) if you snorkel at the right time. we took on of phi phi relax's trips to Phi Phi Lei and were treated to a wonderful day. Long Boats cost a bit to get to Relax from Thon Sai, so best to organise a collection from the staff at Relax. Or you can do the hike, prety steep and pretty sweaty - but worth it for the view!

Near the beach, clean and comfortable No hot water, the water is not very clean when you first open it. The fan is small so that at midnight it is a little bit too hot. A lot of mosquito Except the mosquitoes, the resort is wonderful. Near the beach where you can lay on the sand, swim in the sea or dive to see the fish and coral. The staff is nice and welcome. Food is good and service is nice. The bungalow is new and clean, you can hear the noise of monkey after you. Very nice resort.
Travel tip : Good place to relax or honeymoon

Location, location and location. Nice spot to dive as well! It is isolated if you like the crowds and party people. Then you should stay at Tonsai Bay! Very lowkey resort with the basic neccessities. Beatifull location with nice dives. The prices at the restaurant are a bit high considering it is a budget place...

no hot water for shower We spent one night here and it was our best day on PP Island. It has a good sea view and very pretty Thai style cabins, clean and simple. And the BBQ chicken is so delicious. Moreover, it gave us a big surprise to see the monkeys playing just near our bungalow in the morning and some corals and urchins near the beach. However, we had a bad sleep that night because of some unknown noises around our bungalow. Anyway, the relax beach resort really made us feel so relaxed and we like it very much.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are some beautiful corals near the beach. You should hire a long tail boat to explore the underwater. But take care of the urchins.

Location, Price, Staff, Bungalows No warm water, a little stiff prices in restaurant... A lovely place on the not so crowded side of Phi Phi. Located by itself with a beautiful beach. The beach is rocky when the water is low, but perfect for snorkeling! Beautiful place! Takes about 50 min to walk to shops, ferry etc. but you can take a boat from the hotel (20 min or so). Very good food in restaurant, but maybe a little expensive.
Travel tip : Walk the path to the view point through the "jungle", beautiful view!

Nice island, picturesque. At arrival with the boat we got a long tail boat straight to the resort. That was good, at arrival we had a bungalow far away from the beach. It was ocean view, yes we could see the ocean, but still...
The staff was quite friendly but a bit tired of the local regime so the smile were getting smaller by the day.
