Natural wooden, bamboo bungalow
All natural, best place to chill
6.7
I pretty much like staying in that place. It is a bit further from the beach, still not that far but far enough to be able to have a good sleep as plenty of party was going on there every night.

Nice litle hideaway
very peaceful, pretty, close to beach, very nice people, delicious food, access to exciting excursions, comfortable, and clean

This bungalow was very fun and cozy, situated nicely up in a tuck of other bungalows on a hill above the town in Phi Phi. The town is quite small which makes the bungalow close to everything, including the beach. It is very cozy inside with wood walls and cement floors, but definitely a bit shabbier than the posh photos on the website. There is hot water and a decent bed. It is close enough to the bars and noise so that you hear it late at night, so it's not a peaceful remote place. it's pretty close to the action, which is good or bad. I liked it and would crash there again.

"nice bungalow, central but away from the music"
big rooms, ac, central to all the bars and party beach

very nice bungalow. they help you carry the bag from the boat and to the boat, close to the bars and party beach but still no disturbing music during the night.
good and friendly staff and breakfast can you order from the reception.
a small pool. good to have but we didn't use it so often. its a lot of threes around is, so no sun, but good to take a cold bath in.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Seafrog - padi diving school. Very good staff and i got great three days with a swedish instructor :)

only stay there if you are into partying
comfy but basic bungalows
5.7
The bungalows are basic but quite nice and comfy (with a hammock outside). It is still overpriced for what you get but for Koh Phi Phi it might be good value.
The accomodation is a bit up the hill but still gets noise from the beach partys and of course when your neighbours coming back from the partys at night. Don't stay there if you are looking for peace and sleep before 2/3 am. Moved after one night.

My gripe is more with the island than the hotel bungalow that I stayed at. In terms of the accommodation: the bungalows were lovely, and a novelty, although very hot even with a ceiling fan so I'd recommend an air con room if you're staying in peak season. Unlike the other reviews I loved the swimming pool. Good setting on a hillside. My bungalow was pool side which was nice too so try and ask for that if possible. Only problem with these bungalows, is the mozzies! The other thing was the noise. This place was filled with young backpackers so don't stay here if you mind being woken up at 2am or 4am in the morning occasionally. The food on their menu was brilliant - highly recommended. The wifi didn't work in all the rooms but did in reception (standard for Asia).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be prepared for lots of tourists in January!

Nice hotel near the viewpoint
7.3
I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel, which is situated near the stairs that take to the viewpoint. The room was spacious and well furnished, AC worked well, the location is great if you're running away from noisy beach party!
Nightlife Tip:
Try the banana bar!

Lovely huge room with great pool
6.3
It was a nice resort, very jungle like and the new bungalow was very big. The pool was nice and cold which was refreshing as the sea is very warm. The pool only got sunshine until around 2pm but then the sun went behind the trees - for this reason I moved to a different hotel. Also the overhanging trees meant various bugs and insects dropped onto you as you were sunbathing which got beyond annoying. The bar guy is sullen to say the least, no greeting or smile even though I was there 4 days. The resort is also quite far from the main strip. Very expensive for what it is.

Nice little bungalow
quiet and near the center at the same time
8
Phi Phi Island can be very noisy at night, and to have an accomodation near the center and quiet at the same time is qite difficult.
At tropical garden, the bungalow are on the hillside so it's 5 minute walk to the beach and only 10 to the center of the village.
The bungalow I had was a fan bungalow without hot shower but it's what I was looking for. The room arre clean, with an hamock outside and near the pool.
A good value.
Restaurant Tip:
the Garlic restaurant is one of the best for Thai food and very good price for Phi Phi
