A very pleasant stay at a professionally run resort with a unique atmosphere. The garden suite was beautiful with a very novel layout. Overall, management has paid very close attention to detail and servicing guests. Food was of very good quality. Wines were overpriced for their label (as is the case in most of asia).
Only major downside is the noise on the beach during daytime from the longboats and tourist boats.

welcome and meet and greet was really fantastic.
the room was amazing and everything was more than we expected.
location is beautiful and well kept.
did a tip to the market and everything was well organised by the hotel. also did our transfer to phuket with hotel and they organised everything up until we got to the next hotel. baxil restaurant is good. the tacada is okay for lunches.

zeavola is a lovely resort on a relatively exclusive part of koh phi phi. it is overprice, as is anything on the island, however it is a destination you would choose expecting this well in advance. breakfast is decent, and the romantic bbq on the beach is brilliantly set up.

My wife and I stayed there for 5 nights on our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay. Our favorite parts were definitely the amazingly beautiful and peaceful pool and our little deck attached to our lovely cabin. The grounds are spectacular and for people who are less attracted to "Ritz Carlton" but want to do it up, its a great place. Downsides, yes dinner is really expensive and not good. But lunch was tasty. Also, everything is really expensive, but I guess that is how it goes at fancy places. The staff is very friendly, but "operationally" they were a little weak. My recommendation to them was to stop trying to operate like a corporate hotel and instead be more practical. For example, instead of calling for bottles of water to be delivered or for pool/beach towels, just leave them out to grab which is less annoying for all involved.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Paying for anything but the standard room is a huge waste of money and a big mistake. We had the cheapest room - number 13- and the location we felt was the best. I recommend requesting it, you will see why. Our friends stayed in the more expensive rooms and ours was much better, in fact it was perfect. Finally, eat at Jamsines, buy beer and everything from the Sea Gypsies (sorry Zeavola), spend some time in the local village just a short walk from the hotel, hike up to the view point and hike to Ko Na instead of boating.

has it's own beautiful beachfront with comfortable bean bags under umbrellas

slighlty rundown but still amazing location away from the main tonsai bay crazy party scene, and still lots to do, a range of hotel restaurants and local restaurants to choose from along the beach that zeavola is on. in my opinion it's the best area of phi phi to stay on.

Yes Zeavola is expensive but it is also amazing. Fantastic service, rooms amongst the trees, a setting straight from a movie!
We really loved our stay even though the only airconditioned place was your Bedroom, there was a breeze that swept through our open walled room to cool it down and the view was amazing!
If you have privacy issues the rooms may freak you out but they are adequetly screened with greenery to give you that out in nature feel, I never saw anyone naked and no one saw me even though there are not many solid walls, it did freak my husband out a bit but he got over it!
Fantastic place already planning to return
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We followed the path along the coast that eventually let to a fantastic little town where we found a great little bar along a dirt road and when it got too dark to walk we luckily were offered a lift home from a friendly man who had a modified scooter. Its pitch black at night!
Dont bother going to the Beach where 'the beach' was filmed its full to the brim with day tourists and the beach in front of the Zeavola is prettier, do go around to the other side of the island its on and go snarkling - now that is amazing!
