Aaron W. Couples United States of America, May 03, 2013	Quiet and simple Quiet, Beach, Budget 7 This is a very simple quiet hotel. We had booked a smaller room but graciously were upgraded to an Ocean view L5 room which was quite nice. It is a large bright room with a newer clean bathroom. The staff was unobtrusive almost to the point that you feel like you are on your own--which was not a problem for us, but if you need to 24/7 staff this might not be the place for you; if you need something you need to ask (i.e: extra beach towels, extra top sheet, etc) and they are good about providing those. There is no restaurant at the hotel and the one next door you should definitely avoid. The BEST Thai restaurant in that part of the island is called "Apache" amazing thai soups and very close by.

Great food nearby. 9 We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel for families with small children. Its quiet in the evenings and Hat Vongdeun is nearby so you can access many restaurants, shops and beach activities if you want to. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room wasn't cleaned every day, but the standard of cleanliness was still good. The restaurant next door has great western and Thai food.
