Really nice but older style

The rooms are of a bit older design, dark wood etc. The water pressure in the showers were really bad. Could be that it was fully booked and lots of demand on water. The restaurant was really good, sometimes with great and fast service, sometimes we almost left to go somewhere else. All in all – really good for the low cost.

We stayed in a room that was a few steps uphill, about 50 meters from the beach. The room had an airco that was a bit noisy and a fan. It also had a nice flat screen tv and fridge, but no spare wall sockets. Toilet and shower were adequate. The surrounding has a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Bad bungalows, no cleaning, no new towels, holes in the wall, shower was a disaster. Please choose another place, it's not worth the money!

Cant recommend this hotel to anyone. A hole in the floor in the bathroom, no working shower.
The aircondition was ok. The staff can't speak English, if u want to complain its
Impossible. Don't go there.

Jeeps restaurant Is ok and the beach, that's all.

Very tired bungalow but cheep. You get what you pay for here.
Travel tip:
Restaurant on beach serves good food but your starters may come while you are eating your main or your veg come then 15 min latter some other dish and when your nearly finished your friends starter arrives !!! OK its Thailand but they need to get their act together.

I stay with francais husband for 2 nights, the price of standroom including buffet breakfast is not expensive, and the room facilities can be accepted (bungalow with double bed, TV regrigeration, air-conditon, hot water)
There are a lot of big mosquitos outside the room, then it must be careful when open and close the door.
Compulsory buffet breakfast are western and asia styles, it is ok both adult and children.
A la carte menu is not cheap, but the taste is good enough.
This bungalow is closed the beach, just walk a few minute. The beautiful of the beach is average.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The package tour on the Koh Samed is the same and not expensive, may be it is controlled by local district ( I think that).
But the taxi on the island is expensive, and the price can not negociate.
Many beaches have a lot bars beer, then some beach do not match for the family with little children.

We are absolutely going to recommend Jep's Bungalow to our friends.We have been once before. A place quiet and relaxing and still not far to come to other places.
The rooms are OK but...it could have been more availibilities
to e.g. hang up your clothes! The beds could have been softer!
We will certainly come back!!!!

The hotel was in a great location, easy to walk to Saikaew beach, the longest and popular beach on Koh Samed, but I chose to stay here because I prefer quiet place, which Jep's Bungalow was,Everything was okay for me except for the spare electrical socket for charging my phone or camera that I couldn't see anywhere in the room..Next time I will bring mine..

I would not recommend staying here at all, in fact I'd actively discourage people from doing so. One girl I met moved hotels because she didn't feel safe and manager had been really rude to her because she forgot her breakfast token. The rooms are dank and badly in need of refurbishing, the staff were really rude and unhelpful, one shouted at me during breakfast one day because I asked for eggs! There is much better accommodation on offer in the area.
Nightlife Tip:
Go to Tok's restaurant which has great food and very friendly staff.
