Large Bungalows, beautiful beach and resort. Very quiet and Secluded

Far from the village up north

This place is very beautiful, and can be recomended. The staff is nice and helful, the menu and food in the restaurant is very good. Bungalows are very spacious and clean. The distance from the village up north is also a blessing, because it makes this place very secluded and quiet. A very good hottel if you want privacy and space in idyllic sorroundings with good food, an not spend all your savings to get it.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a 4wd quad! its expensive, but worth it!

Atmosphere, friendly and professional staff.

The beach is not as good as on the beaches a bit north, too many stones.

We had a really great week at the resort. Our children four and five years old adapted very quickly in the wonderful atmosphere, with a great help from the friendly and professional staff. We appreciated also the good food in the restaurant, the hammocks and the lack of commerce and sales people.

If you want peace, you'll find it there.

long distance to the others.

We were there for five nights and found it beautiful place, although the nature is so close of the rooms. Renting an ATV is an option to visit the beaches and restaurants at koh samet.

Cozy cottage in organized site with some swings and hammocks, friendly staff, yummy meals, easy access to sunset viewpoint and facing the beautiful ocean!

no easy access to other restaurants (but the meals there were great), only shower (not with bath tub), Rockey beach

I've been to Ko Samet more than 5 times, and this was the best experience ever there. Everything was great; cozy cottage on the beach, friendly staff and yummy meals. I was with my senior parents and one 5 ys old nephew and it was perfect resort for this occasion. If you wanna have parties, you may have other choice. but if you wanna have quiet one for escaping from city noise, this is the one.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : there is the best sunset viewpoint behind this resort.

Actually everything, the service, the environment, the food, the drinks, the sea, and the sunset.

The only bad thing I had to say is the location. It's a bit far from the port but it was worth it.

I really enjoy to stay at this hotel. The service was excellent. We booked the hotel for two nights, but because of the circumstances we needed to cancel one night. The staff was really helpful. They helped us to phone Agoda and explain and cancel one night without any question. The also offered taxi service. The environment was beautiful. You stay in a very nice "Bungalow" with all you needs. The sunset was also beautiful. You will love this hotel.

Hotel Feature Tip : Good place for relaxing.

The quite beach was very relaxing and enjoyable. I defietly recommend hiking around the southern tip of the island and as well as enjoying the beach side swings. Kayaking is affortable and a good way to see other parts of the island. The Nimmarodee resturant is affordable and thier cook is delicious. The resort staff were very helpful and thoughtful.

The directions on how to get to the hotel were misleading. I was led to believe a boat would pick us up at nuan tiep pier, but none was found and people were not helpful. It was more expensive than I thought to take a taxi to the resort and also difficult to figure out . It would be helpful if the directions on the website were more detailed about the boat to the resort and also give suggestions or recommondations if one misses or can't find the boat.

Nimmarodee hotel is a beautiful and relaxing hotel located on the southern tip of Koh Samet. If you are looking for a quite and restful get away on a beautiful tropical island, then I recommend nimmarodee hotel. The location is ideal for hiking around the tip of the island as well as for kayaking and shell hunting. Though the beach is a little rocky, the atmosphere is serene. Softer beaches are within walking distance, so I feel nimmarodee is a good enviroment for lounging in sun chairs, hiking, and swimming. If you stay be sure to clarify directions in how to get to the hotel before leaving bangkok. Staff are friendly and adequately display Thai hospitality. The beach cottages are comforatble with a beautiful frontal view of the beach. I would definelty go here again.

Travel tip : Definelty hike around the tip of the island and go for a kayak trip. Be aware that the hotel is at the most southern tip of the island, so clafify with the hotel how best to get to the resort. For a restful and quite trip defiently recommended.

Picturesque, welcoming, clean rooms

Price of meals, rental of bikes (compared with the rate on the island), mosquitoes, small sandy beach, no internet.

The weak point of the trip remains the access to the hotel and the price of transport is 500baht for foreigners. There are no other options because the handle is at the tip of the island. For people traveling without bags, it is advisable to rent a bike for the remainder of the residence at 300 baht per day. Beware of extra costs that are added quickly with a Thai cartel. The option of being directly landed by boat from Ban Phe is possible but expensive (AR 3000bahts min).

Hotel Feature Tip : Rent a bike to be autonomous.
