The facility was quiet, clean, staff were respectful and responsive, breakfast was included and was very nice for Europeaan, American and Asian tastes. Both the room and the restraunt provided excellent views of the sea.

No in room safe. Food and beverage service at poolside is expensive.

This was a pleasant hotel with attentive staff. The facility is located on the beach with hillside bungalos that provide an excellent view of the sea. The breakfast was more then adequate and provided enough variety that it should fit any taste. A complementary ferry service was provided to the mainland. The facilty is clean and the beer is served cold.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The speed boat tours are not for those faint of heart. The ocean waves make the speed boat trips unpleasant. Opt for a larger vessel

very quiet and you can relax

far from the main part. you need to have mortor bike or taxi to get there

if you look for the quiet place this is the place you choose. I advise you to have little trip to the island from ko-samet. It takes only 15-30 minutes by boat. You can either charter speed boat or join the tour and you can experience the great time

Quiet.Clean.Nice room.

Long way from bars and restaurants. Food on menu at hotel very limited.

The hotel was adequate and pleasant. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. The main problem is the location. You need to hire a scooter or be prepared to walk a fair distant on unlit roads to find any resaurants and bars. Same also applies to accessing the othe beaches on the island as the beach at the hotel isn't the best.

Travel tip : If you don't mind eating at same place for the whole of your holiday and staying put throughout the day this hotel is fine. I reccomend hiring a scooter and risking the roads as the island has far more to offer than the Samed Club surroundings.

I liked the location. Close to everything. Free ferry.

Too expensive, room was too small, Had a pool you could not use unless you paid more. Meals were expensive.

We originally were supposed to stay at the samet club resort but when we showed up we were informed that their was a problem with our room and they moved us to a different resort. At the sai kaew resort our room was the size of a walk-in closet. Everything was too expensive. I prefer Ko Chang.

Restaurant Tip : If you walk down the beach there is a nice restaurant with good Barbecue for a lot cheaper than the resort

The worst place ever! Agoda has terrible service. Guest Rating: 2

Nothing. I liked it when I left!

The beach was awful. Tiny place. Tacky. Bad service. Expensive. Only worth 500 baht per night. I paid 4500 baht. I wanted to check out as soon as I saw place. Took 3 hours of sitting with calls back and to for it to be sorted. No drink on arrival. Bad attitude. Have to walk past ugly houses and over obstacles to a beach far away and still ugly. Awful experience!

Hotel Feature Tip : Never go here.

I really liked the room. I have the hillside room and the view from the balcony was amazing!

The beach could be better

I can really recommend this hotel to all. The room is nice and I liked the rain shower. The location is good if you want to have a relaxing holiday.

Hotel Feature Tip : Free ferry to the resort.

The standard of the room, The staff are friendly.

Not the best location. The beach outside the hotel is not so exiting.

We stayed two days in March -09. Everything was ok concerning the hotel- The room was very nice with a view overlooking the pool and the beach. Good service. Cleaning ok and fast check in and out. The location is a bit off everything. Two kilometers to the main pier and not so much in the area around the hotel. The beach outside the hotel is small and located between two piers, but if you just walk 200 meters you will find a very nice beach "Ao Noi Na".

The breakfast restaurant was nicely located by the beach. The free boat service was goog.

The reception was in the restuarant without welcoming area. I and my company was so tired from the journey made from Bangkok and to finally Ko samet resort however the reception did not offer any cold drinks nor towels. The receptionist spoke poor english and was hard to communicate. The resort located pretty far from Pier and also from the busy area in Ko samet.

In overall I would not go back to the resort due to mentioned Cons.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Must rent a ATV and motobike to get around the island as TUKTUK is quite expensive choice in Ko samet.

Very relaxed environment, right on the beach, breakfast ok.

Rooms very small, mosquitoes galore

The hotel has its own boats to the island, which run three times a day, lovely beach totally devoid of the usual peddlers, the rooms are small but serviceable and in good condition, all the staff are helpful and friendly. The pool is well laid out and catches the sun for most of the day, and the breakfast was fairly good. All in all a good stay if you like to relax.

Nightlife Tip : Taxis to the bars are fairly cheap, or a walk along the beach takes 15 minutes.

nice pool, quiet, nice rooms, easy manner of staff.

None

Spent three nights in the resort, it's small which I like. Breakfasts were more than adequate and the layout of the rooms was nice. The resort is very close to the pier where the boat lands, no more than 100m walk. I have stayed in other hotels of the group and their management from Baan Phe to the resort and back is always efficient.

Nightlife Tip : There is not much else near the resort, which we enjoyed, but there was a small bar down the way where we were able to sit, relax and watch football on TV.

very quiet and private beach resort. though a little isolated but if were to rent a motorcyle, then its not far from the saikaew beach and the nearby restaurants. rooms is clean and fortunately we got a seaview deluxe cottage.

breakfast could be better and their cocktail drinks are a little overpriced n if there s wireless internet it will be much convenient

i stayed at samed club resorts for 3 days and its quite a nice, quiet and clean resort. rented a motorbike for 400 bahts a day and was given further discounts for the next day at half the price from the nearby shop. the pool was relaxing and the arrangement for the ferry trip was excellent and convenient upon arriving at banphe pier n ample of parking space. its about 10 min motorbike ride to saikaew beach which is beautiful and personally i think it s a must if going to samed.

Restaurant Tip : there s a thai seafood restaurant nearby call baan ploy which is quite interesting thou a little overpriced n remember to check your bill thoroughly before paying

nice private beach, nice environment.

Taxi's are so overpriced, I mean 200baht for a short trip to Sai Kaew beach, okay, you can rent motorcycles and ATV's but, still overpriced.

I stayed there only 2 days, and I must say it was a very lovely and quiet and enjoyable place. Room was decent, only the shower/bathroom was a bit too small. The private beach was very lovely and the swimming pool was also very nice. All in all a good value for money. The only negative side is that you have to take an expensive (and overpriced taxi limo) to get to more busy and big beaches like Sai Kaew beach, but as far as the hotel concerns, I didn't have any complaints, people were also very friendly.
