Samed Club Resort Koh Samet Info
This small and chic boutique property is located on the quiet Noi Na beach located within the protected area under the Kao Laem Ya National Park. Proximity to Bangkok makes the island a perfect short vacation to get away from the crowds and the noise. Steps from the hotel pool is the soft white sand of the beach, where you can enjoy a game of volleyball or just sit back with a good book. The hotel can also help book a range of water sports with outside tours. As with other Samed properties, Samed Club Hotel also aims to provide privacy yet with enough activities nearby to keep one entertained.

Very quiet place if you don't get a room next to road or pool. Clean and good service. Nice breakfast was included. This hotel has it own free boat to transfer from mainland, however hotel transfer from/to Bankok airport is quite expensive. Pool is ok as well as the beach.
It's quite far away from center of island. Road conditions are not so good (average until public pier and horrible south of there). No internet. "Taxi" is quite expensive and Motorbikes not so safe because of bad road conditions.
Hotel Feature Tip : From Bangkok you could get to Ban Phe pier by public van for 200 baht (just be sure to get to the Samed Club pier). Hotel wants 1500 baht for airport transfer to Bangkok, but you could take a "taxi" to Koh Samet public pier (150 B), public boat to Ban Phe (50 B) and minibus to Bankok airport (500 B or less)

Clean, quiet, friendly, great pool
Average restaurant with high prices
Beach a bit small and "cut off"
Very friendly and well managed hotel with a true boutique feel. Though simple in scope and deco, thought and heart have been put into design and features.
One of the few resorts in its price range with a pool - and quite a nice one too.
Restaurant has a quite pricey a la carte menu with quality far below prices. Stay away from the Western food - especially the sandwiches.
Make sure to catch the Samed Resorts slow boat (should be included), which stops right by the hotel.
Located a bit "off" the more lively beaches, renting a motorbike for the entire stay is recommended. Especially since a return trip to the main beach by car costs around the same as the 24 h motorbike rental.

price is nice, rooms are clean and view is nice, with a small pool
the breakfast need to improve, the food is nothing special in the restaurant, to compare with other beaches on the island, the beach is small and too close to pier, the location is far from the market need walking around 30 mins to the market(main street on the island)
the food of the resort restaurant is really normal and the location of the resort is quite far away from the main street(most restaurant and shop are there), you need walking around 30 minutes to there, you may rent a motor cycle to solve the transportation problem, but it's cost you 300 baths per day!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : rent a motor cycle, it's cost only 300 baths per day, it give you a big hand!!!
