I stayed there only 2 days, and I must say it was a very lovely and quiet and enjoyable place. Room was decent, only the shower/bathroom was a bit too small. The private beach was very lovely and the swimming pool was also very nice. All in all a good value for money. The only negative side is that you have to take an expensive (and overpriced taxi limo) to get to more busy and big beaches like Sai Kaew beach, but as far as the hotel concerns, I didn't have any complaints, people were also very friendly.

i think in the island a the price are expensive with no reasons. Rooms are ok and it's quite clean the staff don't speak english so it's a bitb difficult to communicate . i think the restaurant is expensive or the food served. staff is not very helpful and they don't care because it's full the week end. they just want your money

I was very much looking forward to my stay at Samed Club, however the experience failed to meet my expectations. The cottages are spread around a tranquil garden, however the inside of them leaves much to be desired. The bed was possibly one of the uncomfortable I have ever slept in (so much so that we checked out two days early)! The bathroom was not very clean, and the shower did not work very well. Unfortunately the hot water only lasts about 1 1/2 minutes! Breakfast buffet was ok, the restaurant looks over a pretty little beach, however when the tide comes in the beach completely disappears. Staff spoke limited English, which is to be expected at such a location. Our room had some rather disturbing "artwork" - prints of skeletons and goulish looking figures.. I had to take them down! The hotel is quite overpriced, although I was staying there during the high season between Christmas and New Year. Overall not good value for money..

A little oasis of tranquility! Really well done! The rooms are beautiful and the restaurant right on the water. The staff is amazing and the food is good too. The swimming pool is incredible and really comfortable long chairs. They also offer massage on site!

The best of the island! This place is amazing!
The rooms are lovely with a rain shower with great bath products. Everything has been taught of. It's incredible! The breakfast are good too! The staff is so welcoming that you don't want to leave at the end!

Samed Club is great if you want a quiet place on the beach. It's easy to rent a motorbike to go to "town." It has a great view with the calming sound of the ocean. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to Jep's bungalow for drinks and food on the beach. It was delicious and less expensive. Rent a motorbike and tour the island. Get out of the hotel to explore the rest of the island.

This is a very nice and clean hotel. The beachfront bungalow is sometimes a waterfront bungalow - but anyhow very nice. Bad luck was the construction area directly behind my bungalow. The breakfast buffet is very simple but o.k. Unfortunately no fresh fruit juice only instant juice. Lunch and Dinner at the restaurant is quite good but also not cheap. The ferryboat few times a day does not interrupt the scene very much. The speedboat traffic that you can see and hear the whole day from the mainland is sometimes too much. To get away from the hotel to other places on the island is possible only by taxi or motorbike. Especially to go by taxi is very expensive and there is no room for discussions.

We lived in a deluxe room at the hotel, the room was big and nice, but the location at the hotel was very bad! And for all you that are planing to go there don't let the taxi drivers fool you. The hotel has their own boat that drives direct to the hotel for FREE! So don't let anyone fool you to by a ticket for the boat to Koh Samet! We were traveling with small children and the island is not fore family's with small children with wheel carriers!
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel has their own boat that goes from ban Phe to Koh Samet for free, so take that boat!
