Clean, quiet side of the island, great food, beautiful location, small resort feel, staff friendly and helpful, very nice pool
we paid a lot to take a speed boat and they provide a free ferry that we did not know about, size of the beach has eroded since the pictures were taken
Samed Club is great if you want a quiet place on the beach. It's easy to rent a motorbike to go to "town." It has a great view with the calming sound of the ocean. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.
Restaurant Tip : Go to Jep's bungalow for drinks and food on the beach. It was delicious and less expensive. Rent a motorbike and tour the island. Get out of the hotel to explore the rest of the island.

Nice and clean pool area.
Very nice and helpful staff.
This is a very nice and clean hotel. The beachfront bungalow is sometimes a waterfront bungalow - but anyhow very nice. Bad luck was the construction area directly behind my bungalow. The breakfast buffet is very simple but o.k. Unfortunately no fresh fruit juice only instant juice. Lunch and Dinner at the restaurant is quite good but also not cheap. The ferryboat few times a day does not interrupt the scene very much. The speedboat traffic that you can see and hear the whole day from the mainland is sometimes too much. To get away from the hotel to other places on the island is possible only by taxi or motorbike. Especially to go by taxi is very expensive and there is no room for discussions.

We lived in a deluxe room at the hotel, the room was big and nice, but the location at the hotel was very bad! And fore all you that are planing to go theire dont let the taxi drivers fool you, The hotel have a own boat that are driving direct to the hotel for FREE! So dont let anywane fool you to by a ticket for the boat to Koh Samet! We are traveling with small children and the island is not fore familys with small children with wheelcarriees!
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel have a own boat that are going from ban Phe to KOh Samet for free, so take that boat!

amazing view and very clean beach
there is no hot water from time to time in the shower, and mosquitos fly around in the room
this is my first time to stay in the Samed Club hotel, only costs USD69 per night for deluxe hill room, the hotel has a very nice and private beach and outdoor swimming pool. People can easily rent motorcycle at very reasonable price, 400B per day (24 hours). Food is okay and relatively expensive compared the price in bangkok. Anyway, I will highly recommend this resort to my friends.
Nightlife Tip : there are quite a lot nice BBQ bars and restaurants inside of the national park which is 15 minutes away from the hotel by motorcycle driving.

quiet and clean, feels extremely comfortable, most staff is helpful and is obviously trained
staff is poor in english, very slow when you requested some room service or housekeeping with a shortage of staff
Hotel is far away from the pier and famous Had Seikaew beach that you will be going for fire show and dining out, but really worth the money as it is a bit remote, so that the place is clean and quiet - really good and enjoyable. Never wants to stay at Had Seikaew as it is busy, dirty and noisy.
Just 10 minutes away by taxi (what they call it) but charge you 200 buht (standard with published pricing, not negotiable). As I arrived late in the evening, I have no choice but to take taxi. I rather prefer to walk as I can see what restaurant is located around.
About 10 minutes walk away, is the famous Ploy Thalay restaurant, which you should take a motorized boat to a fish farm house and dining out! Excellent view, food is so-so.
Back to the hotel, it is excellent with small swimming pool and have a semi-private beach. No need to pay 200 buht to enter their national park that didn't worths the money. They do nothing to preserve wild animals...
Restaurant is good but a bit expensive, comparing to other restaurants in the island. Bangkok is really affordable, cannot compare! But having a breakfast (incl. in room rates) and have a diner is just fit! Romantic and quiet, with just one mistake, mosquito! Be prepared.
Room is good, although I hardly recognise what benefit I have with Deluxe cottage (the most expensive) but is really good.
Just one thing in mind, although I have pre-ordered a king sized bed, without rejections, but they seemed to be innocent and cannot offer it when arrived.
Hotel Feature Tip : Prepare your suntan lotion in the morning and mosquito repellent during night!

Rooms are comfortable and the location is not too far away from the main beach.
The hotel food including breakfast was terrible.
The room was clean and comfortbale and the staff and room service was excellent but unfortunantly the food at the hotel was below standard and very pricey. For the price of the hotel i would definitely reccomned it as the location is good and the ammenities are comfortable.
Restaurant Tip : Dont eat at the hotel.

Quiet location; very good service
a little bit far from downtown
Samed Club Hotel is a very good choice if you want to enjoy your vacation in Samed Island. They have very good service. you can rent a motorbike to Si Kaewee beach within a few minutes. This hotel will be my first choice when I go to Samed island nex time.

The location of this hotel was a wee distance from the town, however there is a scooter hire place just down the road and I would recommend hiring these for a couple of days. You only need 1 for two people so is quite cost effective. The food was also very very nice, however compared with the price of food in town, it was a little steep, but at least you didn't have to travel far if you ate at the hotel!

Great value for the money, good for families, couples, old or young. But it is a walk to the bar/party scene so might not be the best location if you are into that. But the beach is a lot more quiet and clean than the busy beach.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We went on a boat/snorkeling trip which we really liked. The hotel has a pamplet on the different trips you can go on with Jimmy's tours. The boat also took us to the fish farm which was very interesting.
