For a peaceful getaway from normal crazy life

On arriving on Ko Tao the Rocks had their taxi pick me up from ferry, which in the chaos of taxi drivers was a blessing after the journey there. On arrival in hotel was greeted by Janine (the owner) and her manager Chloe, who was helpful throughout my whole holiday, they just made things easy. The villas are gorgeous, very romantic at night with the lights eating your dinner by candlelight with that view is special. Due to being on a hill their is a lot of stairs (but trust me its worth it, and it is on a hill!!!!) Siree beach is very picturesque with many nice restaurant's. will definitely be going back again to stay there.

Amazing view to wake up to every morning, and enjoy privacy of own balcony/hammock and pretty much pool. English speaking staff, great communication prior arrival to ensure all our needs were met. Got an upgrade to family villa. Modern villas with everything you may need to forget about your real life. Will be back for sure!

Amazing villas with friendly service

We had such a great time on Koh Tao! The rocks villas is a perfect place to stay and great to unwind after the days adventures. The service is super friendly and more than happy to meet our needs. We will come back to Koh Tao in the near future and would love to stay at the rocks villas again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I can highly recommend diving with Big Blue Diving. Very professional and a whole lot of fun!

Great Villa with a personal touch
private and quiet with great views

The villas are very good, tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. As there are only 3 villas and they are situated quite a way up the hillside peace and quiet is assured.
The owners Janine and Reuben really add a nice personal touch, delivering breakfast in person and are always chatty and cheerful, with lots of knowledge/advice on the islands best spots and activities.
I look forward my next visit!
Hotel Feature Tip:
The road up to the villas is fairly steep, a motorbike is recommended, and although the locals could scale the Eiger on a Honda Wave, something with a bit more power should be sought, as many of the best bays don't have paved access. Just research where to hire the bike from beforehand.......
Of course taxis can be used, but the price of 1 trip is more than the rental cost of a bike for the day.

Beautiful Villa & very well looked after

It was my husbands birthday while we were visiting koh toa on our travels so we decided on a night of luxury and that was exactly what we got at the rocks villa.
We were greeted my the owner Janine who was so welcoming & friendly.
The villa was so lovely with beautiful decor. It is up in the hills but only a 5 min walk to the town.
Breakfast was brought to the villa the next morning by Janine & served to us on our balcony which was amazing.
The hammock was a real bonus for us too. A really relaxing experience with beautiful surroundings

les 3 villas sont magnifiques propres,spacieuses et très bien décorées.
un grand merci à janine et reuben pour leurs grandes disponibilités et leurs conseils sur les plages,plongées,resto... (janine parle très bien français).
Hotel Feature Tip:
L’hôtel est au bout d'un chemin très raide location de scooter conseillé!!L’hôtel est très bien placé à 2 min de Sairee Beach en scooter la plage principale pour sortir le soir.

Schöne Villa mit freundlichem Service

Die Villa liegt in traumhafter Lage, jedoch ist diese nur über ein Weg zu erreichen, der in einem üblen Zustand ist. Villa ist gepflegt und sauber, das Frühstück ist auch zu empfehlen. Lediglich der Weg vom Pool zur obersten Villa ist anstrengend, da man ein gutes Stück Treppen laufen muß. Desweiteren ist der Pool nicht fertig ausgefugt, somit besteht Verletzungsgefahr.

Geweldige locatie, moeilijk bereikbaar

het hotel bestaat uit 3 villa's, dus niet eigenlijk een hotel. alle comfort in de villa en geweldig uitzicht. mooi zwembad voor de 3 villa's samen. een keuze-ontbijt werd door eigenaresse op gewenste tijd bezorgd. omdat de villa's tussen de rotsen op een berg zijn gebouwd en er een primitieve weg naar toe loopt kunnen niet alle auto's daar komen dus soms een lekkere klim omhoog zodat je ook nog aan je conditie kan werken. echt een unieke plek met een uitzicht tussen de palmbomen door over de baai van koh tao.
Restaurant Tip:
Bij restaurant Whitening kan je heerlijk op het strand, onder het genot van een zwoel achtergrond muziekje, genieten van een goede maaltijd en een lekker glas wijn.

订酒店时被那个大大的吊床吸引，又有家庭套房，所以毫不犹豫就订下了。入住时看到汽车拐入崎岖陡峭的山路，最后停在一个没路的地方时，心里凉了一大截，毕竟带着老人和孩子，既危险又极其不方便。
不过住下后，还是感觉到酒店别具特色，房间很舒服，景观一流，早餐可口，酒店经营者是两个年轻的英国女孩，服务很周到，尽可能帮助客人。就是外出不方便，必须要叫车，每次200B。个人觉得这里更适合年轻人渡假，体验别具一格的酒店特色。

Serviceminded engelsk betjening tok kontakt før ankomst for å avtale henting på fergekaia. Stedet med 3 flotte moderne villaer ligger for seg selv i skogterrenget et stykke opp i den bratte åssiden bak Sairee Beach og sentrum. Ca 10-15 minutters gange i nedoverbakke til stranden og sentrumsstrøket. Hver villa disponerer egen mobiltelefon med nyttige nummere forhåndslagret. Dedikert taxisjåfør som raskt henter og bringer på bestilling til fastsatte priser. Arrangerer også rundturer på øya med bil eller longtailboat. Felles bassengområde med herlig utsikt. Vill natur med rikt dyre- og planteliv. Den hyggelige betjeningen er dyktige på å informere og individuelt tilrettelegge for et knirkefritt opphold, men holder ellers lav profil. Det er lagt opp til høy grad av selvstendighet og man får følelsen av sin egen private hytte på øya med egen consierge. Husk lommelykt på veien hjem på kveldstid. Merk: Det serveres kun frokost, men lokale restauranter leverer takeaway. Menyer er tilgjengelig. Anbefales for par, enslige og forfattere som ønsker fred og ro, men ønsker å ha muligheten til å oppsøke tilbudene i nærheten.
