The hotel provides 44 spacious villas set along a private bay on the secretive and beautiful island of Koh Yao.

The Elixir Resort offers guests a secluded getaway an island floating on the crystal blue of the Andaman Sea between Krabi and Phuket. To get there, it’s just a 30-minute drive from the Phuket International Airport to the Boat Lagoon Marina, where guests will take an additional 30-minute boat ride to their destination.

Away from the more tourist heavy areas, the three-star resort also faces the 250 meter-long private bay known as Bo Le, where guests can sunbathe or play in all the water activities.

very nice gardens simple but nice design good service

the outdoor activities are priced a bit high compared to other resorts around Phuket no swimming during low tide, beach turns into rock field

This is a good place to relax and calm down. Even during CNY, there was plenty of private space

out of nowhere. room made "for the eye" and not for comfort (poor lightning : cannot read ; low bed on platform : useless and bad at night ; no good place to write; useless dip-pool in view of every passer-by).

It is not easy to reach the hotel and then you are out of nowhere : No activity or excursion is properly proposed and there is little transportation. Overall there is no value for money compared to so many better places!

Great bungalows, good restaurant, 24 hours reception/front desk, sports/dive center.

The only thing I can think of is that there is only internet at the front desk, so no wifi in the bungalows. But this is not really important.

Koh Yao Yai, a beautiful non-touristic island. The resort lies at the most beautiful beach of this island. The normal bungalows are beautiful, and comfortable, and have really cool outside showers. The other more expensive bungalows are bigger, and have their own pool outside. The resort is nice and quiet. Great resort if you want to get away from the busy beaches of Phuket. Watch great sunsets from the beach, or from your bungalow. Lots of trips organized by sports/dive center, to Phi Phi island, etc.
