Clean, Quiet, Beautiful, Good price

The beach is a little rocky during low tide. But still beautiful.

Great hotel! The rooms are very clean, large, and modern. The restaurant serves excellent food (which is very important, since it is the only restaurant nearby). The views from the beach are awesome. Transportation from the airport was easy to arrange by email...don't forget to do this since the place is on a small island and you will need a boat to get there.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do the kayaking tour...and book it at the hotel

Beautiful beach and rooms full of character.

1) The hotel offers extravagantly expensive transfers from the mainland taking advantage of the difficulty of independent transport to the hotel. 2) Not the hotel's fault, but swimming at low tide is impossible.

The Paradise is a beautifully situated hotel on the remote northern tip of Koh Yao. We didn't consider quite how remote it is and declined the hotel's transfer instead catching the public boat from Phuket (extremely good value at £4 per person instead of the hotel's exorbitant £40 a head transfer). Once at the public pier you have a hairy 45 minute ride on the back of a truck up and down steep dirt tracks to the hotel. I very much enjoyed the ride and was extremely smug about the money we managed to save by arriving this way but in future would without doubt take the financial hit and pay for the Paradise transfer to arrive directly onto the Paradise beach. Our room was in a large thatched hut at the top of the resort with a sea view obstructed by the resort's many trees. The room had a lot of character with extremely high ceiling and a large outdoor bathroom including jacuzzi bath. The bed is covered by a mosquito net and you are presented with mosquito repellent as a welcome gift on arrival at the hotel but, although there clearly are some mosquitoes I wasn't especially bothered by them. I did get bitten three or four times in the room's outdoor jacuzzi at dusk but that was only to be expected. The beach is beautiful backed at the northern end with a large karst cliff where many guests go rock climbing. When the tide is in the sea is great for swimming, completely still. Swimming is impossible at low tide but if low tide falls between 10 and 3 the hotel lays on a free boat to a beach on one of the islands where it provides free water and towels. The view from the beach out across Phang Nga Bay is incredible and kayaks can be taken from the beach out around the islands if you are feeling brave. Breakfast is pretty good with a huge range of hot and cold food together with an omelette station. The restaurants are good and reasonably priced given that you are effectively captive on the resort. The restaurants are open sided and you can eat with your feet in the

Location: it is on a quiet beach with an absolutely spectacular view. Room: very cute. Especially a balcony with a swing and a shower room outside bedroom. Restaurants: right on the beach. you can enjoy the view while you are having meals. Their crispy pizza was very tasty. Others:Our package included a complimentary round-trip airport transfer to the hotel. The hotel kindly arranged a free transfer to our next location (Patong Beach) which was further away from the airport.

Beach in front of the hotel when the tide was out--but there is a daily complimentary shuttle boat to another beach.

We stayed at Paradise Koh Yao before our stay in Phuket. We would have stayed longer at this hotel if we had not had a booking in Phuket for the following evenings. I recommend this hotel to those who love natures and a quiet holiday.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Canoeing around the hotel was enjoyable!

We decided to upgrade to a jacuzzi room at the last minute which was well worth it. These rooms seemed to be set higher up the hillside meaning you had more of a view. Sitting in our jacuzzi looking out over the trees and sea was pretty amazing. Depending on the tides when you're there the sea may be pretty shallow for a couple of hundred metres out, making it unsuitable for swimming. It is also incredibly warm. However there is a pool set underneath the palm trees which is much cooler and more refreshing.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel's kayaking trip to the Phan Nga islands was well worth it.

nice design, super relaxed, friendly staff, delicious food

suggestions: music in the restaurant would be more pleasant, moped rental would be the English of the staff what to planing? These are very minor comments!

This resort is an absolute must for those who love peace and quiet in a pleasant, relaxed but very tasteful, romantic and friendly setting. Our entire stay we were literally with their feet in the sand at the beach, where the bar and restaurant. There is an abundance of delicious and varied food and there are many excursions offered. The resort is very remote and there is the little island to do so for genuine peace seekers and honeymooners.

Hotel Feature Tip : who likes uncomplicated design

large clean rooms, kayaking trip was super nice, very nice SPA, loneliness pure (but can also be a disadvantage, 3 nights were enough for us)

a few unfriendly people scrape the image of the entire staff, An-/Abfahrt to the hotel in the hotel's own boat too expensive
