big rooms, 2 double beds with balcony. friendly & helpful staff. furnishings & decor somewhat dated. This is an ideal budget hotel for a family with young kids who do not want to pay for 2 rooms. The big rooms with 2 double bed & a good sitting space mean that it is very economical & familly friendly. Would be good for 2 sets of couple if on a budget or 4 boys/ girls, it is very clean & has a/c which is a must in the South. The rooms have a cooking area with microwave, sink & fridge although probably not many holiday makers would cook it is usful to have the faciclities to keep snacks/ drinks. Hotel is short walk to the beach & there are plenty of restaurants & a few bars. It is a nice familly friendly area, no sleaze etc although it was very quiet due to the recession.It is not the hotels fault the townwas quite this year, probably lots of places were. It is a good location opposite Sheraton, if your budget is much smaller this hotel provides comfortable budget accomodation with plenty of space.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : well worth going on a boat trip, koh pod, chicken island etc, good day out, good snorkeling & beautiful scenery. Traditional massage next to hotel, good value & very theraputic.
