This is a great beach, we had stayed at Phuket before getting to Krabi and then stayed at Ao Nong beach before getting here. Of the three this is the best beach. Great view clean water and a gentle tide.
The hotel is on a hillside with no lifts that work or are to be used by visitors. So lots of stairs, which our two year old struggled with. The rooms are clean and well appointed, ours had direct access to the pool, which we enjoyed.
The big problem with this hotel is that the owners are rich greedy people who having got permission to build the hotel in an area of unspoilt beauty are going to milk for every last cent.
It is about 16 kilometre from the nearest town, and you might expect a free or cheap shuttle bus, but they charge 800 but return, which is about the same as the local taxis charge.
The food is dire, and over priced as are the drinks. They offer cocktails and other mixed drinks,but as the staff are both underpaid and not trained to any known standard the results are poor.
Restaurant Tip:
There are plenty of nice places to eat in Ao Nong beach, so save your cash for people who work hard for their Baht. La luna is nice but Italian.

Decent enough hotel next to best hotels in area

This hotel could have alot more to offer if it was just worked on. Nothing is particular bad, rooms are spacious and clean, food and drink prices are reasonable. Hotel was quite but has a pool right on the beach. Apart from the three or four resorts nearby it is quite a distance from anywhere though they do run a paid shuttle service if needed
The only critism is when you look at the hotels either side you can see what attention to detail can achieve. Hence the cheap prices avaliable for this resort. As long is you use this for a base and use the other hotels facilities and resturants you will find yourself a bargain for a resort in this area.

Next door hot resturant is pricey but fantastic

There was a lot we liked about Anyavee;
- we had a great room on the ground floor so the children could play in the little pool right outside the villa while we read books on the balcony.
- The breakfast was pretty good for a 4 star hotel
- the location is fabulous - right on a quiet beach and fabulous big bean bags to lie on
BUT
- the hotel getting towards the end of it's lifecycle. It's a little dated
- The food in the restauramt was actually pretty good but relatively expensive, even compared to the surrounding hotel restaurants which were closer to 5 star.
Restaurant Tip:
The Tubkaek resort next door does a happy hour. It's a great sot to have a drink while the kids play on the beach

Pool access was very convenient for our family. Kids love to stay at this hotel. We highly recomend our friends and relatives to stay at this hotel. Staff are very helpful & friendly. They serve cuppocino & latte during breakfast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Longtail boat can be book at the beach at any time. Also 3.7km hiking trail near the hotel.

booked the deluxe jacuzzi room but got upgraded to the suite upon check in probably due to low season. room was clean and spacious, had the pool mostly to ourselves during the stay. the staff was very friendly and helpful, even surprising me with a birthday cake.
the beachfront was not the cleanest, with lots of debris. only 1 restaurant was open but we were able to go to the restaurant in amari vogue.

Wonderful stay.Got upgraded.Low season and so very personalised service! Private beach, ok food, easy to arrange tours from the hotel or from the beach itself.Lovely sunset view towards Hong isles.
