Relaxing & Comfortable hotel
Friendly Service & Helpful staff. Located out of the town, kept you relaxing
8
The location of the hotel was good for those who want to stay away from a stressful life. As it located 2km away from Ao Nang small town. The room is cleaned and decorated with a lovely Swan that folded with towels, but the shower and bathtub are in bad condition. The staffs are friendly and helpful, they will provide you all the necessary information that you required. Everything is good except the shower and the bathtub that need improvement
Restaurant Tip:
There is a restaurant - The Hilltop Thai Restaurant that provide you a good view to have candle light dinner with your love one. They will provide a free shuttle service from your hotel. The food was good and the price quite reasonable.

Just a short walk from shops and restaurants
Cheap minibar, all rooms overlook pool
6
our stay was for 4 nights at the ao nang buri resort as part of our honeymoon. the walls are very thin, which we learned when there was a crying baby in the room next to us. all rooms overlook the pool, and if you request one on the first floor you can literally jump in from your balcony. staff was not very attentive about their included breakfast, always running out of food and plates, and they do not replenish until asked (sometimes twice). friendly enough, but no one spoke english as well as we had expected after staying in other areas of thailand. be sure to book with agoda... we saved a ton of money that way!
Restaurant Tip:
There is an amazing Indian restaurant just across the bridge from the hotel.

aonang buri is a reasonably priced middle of the range resort with a lovely pool that is shady at various points of the day (a plus for me!!!)
the breakfast is good and the restaurant does great fresh snapper.
the rooms are clean and spacious and the mini bar is very resonably priced.
Restaurant Tip:
try the restauarant at Sala Talay the resort next to Aonang Buri

Cosy resort at a good location
Located close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Staff were polite and friendly. Rooms were cosy and clearn.

We had a nice room with a view of the swimming pool. The staff were helpful with advice on what to do in Krabi. The rooms aren't very big but comfortable for two. The breakfast was simple and did not have a big selection. All in all, good value for money.

Nice place on the beach
hotel pool was great; nice, large rooms
8.7
this was a nice place to stay with a great pool and clean rooms. the staff was friendly and helpful. it was expensive for southeast asia, but it seems that all of krabi has that problem. we got a deal on agoda that put it in our price range. we didn't eat at the restaurant because the prices were higher than other places around town.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I overall wasn't impressed with Ao Nang. It might be great for families, but it has the feel of a beach resort town back home as opposed to a Thai paradise. Railay is gorgeous, but packed with people. I enjoyed my time on the islands much more.

It's typical standard room
8.7
The room is clean. The bed may have bed bugs or the type of laundry detergent they use. I felt itchy and my son scratched himself most of the night. The light from the balcony was too bright to fall sleep...I did not know there was a switch to turn it off or not but I could not find it. Wifi only free from the lobby.
Shopping Tip:
There is a mini mart next to the hotel. You can get milk here if you have young kids.

Lovely hotel with helpful staff
Nice pool, peaceful location.

I was unable to stay at the hotel for the night I had booked due to a tsunami warning meaning that I was stranded in Krabi. I made it to Ao Nang the following day, however, and the staff allowed me to use the pool and hotel facilities etc. for the next day which was nice.
The hotel is just opposite a lovely, scenic beach, set slightly out of town, but not far away at all which was good.

Great service, big and clean rooms and the breakfast buffet was good! Okay location, 10 minutes to ao nang beach. The beach in front of the hotel is not so nice but they have long tail boat service there.
