We found this to be a very average hotel. Room was a nice size, but we found ants crawling around on our floor every evening and there was a dead cochroach in one corner that the cleaners never seemed to notice. Every time we showered, water would flood the entire bathroom and there didn't seem to be any effective drainage. Toilet paper is not flushable here - you have to put it in a bin instead. Breakfast was not nice at all, and the food we were served for room service was disgusting! Would not stay here again.

the hotel is very average. wi-fi is free only in public areas -i.e hotel and restaurant. although it says wi-fi in rooms is free, its not. it is only paid. most of the staff can barely understand english. calling and asking for room service was a nightmare as the staff only know how to say -'hello' or 'yes?". only the reception was reasonably helpful.
deserves to be a 2.5 start hotel only.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do take one of the island tours that are on offer. Don't book through the hotel. They ask for baht for the tour, while you can get the same for 1000 baht in the market.

Hotel located on the other end of Ao Nang Area,in front of Nopparat Thara beach instead.A good 20min walk (turn left from Ao Nang Buri)to Ao Nang beach where you can have a good meal & shop around.
Stay in the main block,it do provide a good view but a swamp located just beside it.To reach the Hotel,we travel in a taxi from Airport (600Baht Fixed),it took around a hour.Room is clean & you see what you get from the photo.Free Wifi only available in the lobby & it would cost you 100Baht per hr if you want to use Wifi in your room.

good location to walk to the beach, rent boats for snorkeling and walking for food

a wonderful time of relaxing and being refreshed in a very convenient location. within walking distance to shopping and eating on ao nang beach.
the staff was very helpful when we had an air conditioning problem. they even came at 2100 to try and fix it. did a temporary fix and the next day replaced the aircon unit. the hotel was full so they could not move us but the staff was very committed to helping us enjoy our stay. we were out snorkeling that day so nothing lost.

You get what you pay for at the Ao Nang Buri. Bed was kindve hard. Bathroom in the lobby was nasty. I think i was bitten by a 1000 mosquitos. Its kindve far from the main strip and shops/restaurants, only a 10-15 minute walk though.
Restaurant Tip:
Ask the tuk tuk drivers for good thai restaurants. dont be afraid to try street food.

we enjoyed this hotel, nice, friendly and helpful staff.
good breakfast, could have some more sandwich spread at the breakfast, other than that nice. hotel was clean and quiet, and nice. good location also, close to the longtailboats and taxis. asked for recommendation about seafood restaurant and got a great place with pickup and deliver service.
all in all, would definately stay here again!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to Poda Island, great Island. Take a longtailboat, and ask them to drop you off at the far side of the island. This place is great, and quiet, not so many people. Or you could drop off at the point where the speedboats are, and walk through the forest for a tranquil and quit beach :)
