It has to be the best back drop of all the view from the pool and pool side rooms with that mountain. nice quite beach front, good resturants, you name it it had it all great people wonderful food, clean and tidy, would go back great recommendation.

Only one thing the sunday night entertainment, have seen better bottle spinning, but this was by the staff. 10/10 for trying.

was not so sure about Ao Nang Villa but it was the high light of the holiday the staff very attentive helpful, rooms very clean, area on beach, has its own massarge area, you do get pestered by touts along the beach road but that's all part of the fun. Day trips out well organised recommend, Pia Pia island.great day out. Plenty of local bars and resturants, travel agents ice cream parlours...

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Pia Pia island, and if you dont want to be pestered by massarge touts carry a piece of pinapple or a bannana, it means you have just had a massarge

Room was big, the pool was nice, the staff were great.

room was a little dull. The pool required an early reservation to get a place to lie down during the day.

The hotel itself was great. Very clean and well run. The staff looked after any detail requested. They helped us get a car when it started to downpour as we left for the airport. They gave us extra towels and allowed us store our bags and shower after we checked out of our hotel rooms until we had to leave for the airport. With all these extras we were more than satisfied with their hospitality.

Great location. 2 swimming pools. Satisfying buffet breakfast.

Leaking shower head. It would have been better if wifi is free.

My husband and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the ao nang villa resort. We stayed there from march 28-31, 2009. We arrived after 4pm ...... and were warmly welcomed with a delicious "grape tasting" drink. (but actually a cool herb tea) It was also their time (4-5pm) for the free afternoon snacks. very simple but a nice touch! I think they could do better though by varying the cookies more..... or coming out with more native tasting snacks. I appreciate the bellboy who had to carry our heavy luggage (no elevators) all the way to the 3rd floor. What especially pleased me was that my request for a no smoking room with a "nice view of the sea" was granted. We stayed in grand superior room # 7306. But, take note, it's on the 3rd floor.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't miss the Phi Phi day tour!! It was well worth the 900 - 1.2k baht/person (we got it at 900). The resort right beside ao nang villa is golden beach resort. Has a very good beach front. What i liked about it is the very friendly Thai masseurs that they have. Their restaurant has a good view of the sea just like ao nang villa, if not better.

We are happy that we make the right choice to stayed at this hotel, looking forward to go back soon.We hope the hotel can provide some water sport,etc.....

Location-walking distance to the beach (but its not the nicest beach), food, massages, shops, free breakfast and complimentary drinks around 5pm.

bathroom was a bit rusty, toilet seats and tub were a bit stained. stayed on the 1st floor and had some ant visitors.

overall, i enjoyed my 2nigh stay here and would recommend this to resort to other visitors. Location is excellent! On the hotel site, to the right of the hotel spa, there are open massage mats where you can have a thai massage for 200baht. Beach is within 3 min walking distance. There are longtail boats on the beach, for short excursions to railey beach or phi phi. Bunch of tour shops, restaurants, supermarkets close to the resort.

Two great pools, lovely big clean rooms, great position on the beach, just away from all the noisy bars.

Two many trainee staff who could not speak English or really understand anyone!

I thought this hotel was fantastic and was actually better than the description on the internet. When we arrived we were upgraded to a great sea view room with a super king size bed which was a lovely touch. One pool is on the front of the hotel and one on the back which gives you a nice option. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was also nice to have pool towels provided that we could swap for clean ones at any time. Would recommend to friends.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Must take a water taxi to some of the surrounding beaches as they are lovely, especially Railey Beach.

Near shops, restaurants, beach. Hotel prepared to guide you through tours and very polite staff

furniture and bathroon in the room stayed needs refurbishment, but no big deal

Nice hotel, close to restaurants, shops and main commercial businesses of Ao Nang (all at walking distance). Pool is nice, however it is full for most of the day. Other areas of Hotel are nice and clean. The room I stayed with my wife needs some refurbishment, altough it is a quiet and with very nice view. Beach Front massage is not a traditional thai massage, and there are better option in town or at the own Hotel Spa. Hotel offers many tour options with the best providers in town. It really worths and the hotel staff is very prompt to provide you guidance and satisfaction.

Restaurant Tip : There is a very nice restaurant close to Hotel. It's called Thailandia and its right in front of McDonalds.

Room was really nice (recently renovated) Pools were really nice Great location - right on the beach Breakfast is good The reception staff is fantastic

Restaurant and especially the pool staff are pretty rude. They are not professionals that have been trained to provide good service to their customers.

This is a very nice hotel overall. The room was really nice with a great view. Area within the hotel is very well maintained. The location is great..right on the beach and withing walking distance to shopping area and restaurants. There are 2 very nice pools. The reception staff is fantastic, but the rest of the staff especially the pool and restaurant staff is rather rude. We were in the middle of ordering our dinner and our waiter simply walked away as I was in the middle of ordering without excusing himself to attend to the new customers arriving at the restaurant. That was pretty bad. The pool staff were not very nice or willing to help out with the pool chairs when requested. I also saw them being yelled at by another customer. It is not a very professional team of people working there.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, ideal location

very little room around Pool

DeNaga is a small boutique hotel. It has restaurants etc. directly in front of the property. The night market is about 10 blocks from the hotel. A cab is a dollar to the market or almost anyplace. The staff is sweet and helpful. The rooms are large and the entire hotel is spotless. They are constantly cleaning. The room has a large window, nice sized bathroom, and is very clean. The price is very low for what you get. The breakfast is in an air conditioned restaurant and excellent also you can sit outside in comfortable sofa with umbrellas. We would return here again.

Shopping Tip : Nightmarket is just 10 minutes walk from hotel

The location is great, one of the few hotels that actually have beach for swimming in Ao Nang. Good access to everything in Ao Nang. 2 pool areas, one of the pools being quite large in size.

Restaurant Tip : Do try the pancakes sold throughout the streets. They're yummy.

The pool, resturant, staff, location.

We were put in a room with two single beds pushed together.

We loved staying at this hotel apart form the fact that when we arrived the hotel had not recieved our booking and we were put into a room with two single beds pushed together, which was very uncomfotable. We stayed for 4 nights and nothing was done about this. Apart from this the hotel was great. The food was fabulous and the NYE party that was put on was really fun. The location was perfect as it was on the beach but about a 3 minute walk away from all the nightlife and markets, resturants etc. The staff were friendly and accomadating and we would stay again.

Travel tip : If you walk past the hotel about 500m there is a big area where they do the best massages in Krabi.

Brilliant location in Ao Nang, the hotel is right next to the beach and it is also right next to the main high street in Ao Nang. Very helpful staff and always very friendly. We really enjoyed the free afternoon tea which was laid on everyday.

There are 2 really lovely swimming pools in the hotel, but if you can a sunbed you've got to be willing to get up at the crack of dawn to get your towel on a sunbed, otherwise you haven't got a chance in hell of getting near the pool, but at least the lovely beach is a decent compromise.

This was a really lovely hotel in a great location, it's very centrally located. I do feel however that the rate charged for the hotel is slightly higher then it's worth, there are definitely other hotels nearby which cost less which would maybe be just a nice at the Ao Nang Villa resort. We stayed over new year, so we attend the hotels gala meal which was brilliant, a lot of effort was made by the hotel and all the staff and the food was fantastic!! Rooms were very spacious and clean and the whole hotel was generally kept really well! The only problem we found was with the sunbeds and getting one by the pool, but the beach in front of the hotel was a fantastic alternative.

Restaurant Tip : Don't go to the Aonang seafood restaurant located down on the seafront itself. Service was very slow and when they did eventually take our order things come at different times, so you got half your meal 20 minutes before the other half of the meal, then a lot of the things we ordered didn't even arrive. The staff just didn't know what they were doing and we weren't the only one's in the restaurant this happened too, we saw at least 5 other families which only got half there food orders or none at all, it was a joke!! I would recommend going to one of the many food stalls on the main road, they cooked delicious authentic fresh Thai food which can't be beaten and all for a less then a few £'s!

Renovated room, 2 swimming pools, next to the beach.

Renovation unfinished (noise).

We had a problem: the hotel renovation was unfinished, and we did not have a room the first night! Despite this bad start, we had a very nice time in the hotel. Rooms were recent, clean and nice sea view. There were 2 swimming pools, big. The hotel is in ao nang but fortunately isolated from main crowd. Definitely would go back again to stay longer.
