defenatley not a resort for laying in the hotel - pool very small. small pool, very nice rooms - eqiuped and new. great bathroom and modern furniture. in the heart of town accessible to everything.

New hotel, very clean, the room is spacious and has a balcony. This is a new hotel and is very clean. We are very happy with the room. Everything in the room is still new. The charges of the mini bar items in the room is reasonable charge. Facilities in the hotel is ok. The view of the swimming pool there is nice too. Location wise - very convenience and located in the busy street where u can walk to the beach in 5 to 7 minutes time. Worth to stay there and i would definately go back to the hotel again.

great location where near the crowds and cliff beach is really cosy and clean for staying there, good beding/swimming pool/ lovely breakfast, plus spectacular view and most of all, really nice staff! my friend was badly bitten by mosquitoes, and there was no MTV or music channel in TV programs, should put up more signs for guests to show the direction, the hotel was kind of a maze.. me and my friend stayed in Ao Nang Cliff beach for 2 nights, we were so dissapointed by the heavy rain on our first day, and the staff really did us a huge favor, spent quite a while to plan our boat trip at front desk since we were worried about the rain may delay our flights. but on top of that, we were amazed by the view, it's not easy to find a hotel with such view in a friendly location! next time we will go for Cliff beach again!
Restaurant Tip : there is a restaurant called The Eden's, they do have very nice food, it's not Thai but their Lamb Chop...fantastic!

Good location, Friendly staff If its raining u get wet alot within the resort !! Clean modern rooms,nice big shower, nice friendly helpfull staff, being above macdonalds is a bonus ! dont let this put u off as its above alot of other shops aswell, its close to the beach but up the hill slightly and set back abit , there are nice views at breakfast across the sea, food is very nice. pool is nice and clean, The childrens play area is great for toddlers, the only problem is that if it raining u can get wet just walking to reception from your room. This is a nice hotel, wouldnt really call it a resort though.

Great swimming pool. Great location in a new section of the little village. Very close to great restaurants and the beach. Very nice staff. Breakfast was very good, and once again, great service. Toilet and shower were almost part of the bedroom. Both were screened with a cloudy glass doors that opened right into a little open space in the main entrance. I really enjoyed this hotel. It is located above the McDonalds which at first concerned me since I had never been to Krabi. After arriving, I could see this was this area had the newest shops that I would call upscale compared to the other buildings. I was very pleased with the room, the view, the swimming pool (5-stars), the breakfast, the location, and most of all the service provided by the staff. It was low season when I was there (June 09) so there were not many people there but I was also politely greeted and always received quick service. The staff was also very helpful in arranging tours for me. Overall, I would rate this hotel a 4 out of 5 stars which is perfect for me. For the price, it is a great deal. I would certainly stay there again if I ever travel back to Krabi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The half day kayaking and elephant trekking was great. You will travel about 5 km on the kayak but it is beautiful scenery. Take the sun screen and make sure it is waterproof as you may have some small waves that may splash on you. They will provide a waterproof bag so you do not have to worry about your camera. Definately take your camera!

Staff were really helpful although it was quiet.Swimming pool really nice and the food was good. Near the beach and town but still pretty quiet. Not beachfront, breakfast slightly limited. This hotel is located above a mc d's and bank but don't let it put you off. Get a room at the back of the hotel and so quiet! Pool is lovely and the staff are v helpful. Great value in the off season. It is all new so clean and fresh. It is well situated to get the boats to railay, ko lanta and phi phi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you fancy a crazy night out jump over to Phi Phi for a night, book a cheap hotel, great fun but don't expect any sleep, even round the bay its still booming til 5 am. Great fun but good to go back to somewhere peaceful afterwards!

Being there during the off peak season was the best choice we made for our trip to Thailand this year. Stay with Aonang Cliff Beach Resort during that period was just rejuvenating. There was no one there except us. We had the whole place to ourself. We had the whole pool to our self. We had the staff taking care of no one except us. It was one of the best trips ever so far.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Any day tours in Krabi can be arranged by the hotel staff.

The lovely staff, great pool, the room the breakfast was average, although it was low season This hotel was lovely. The staff were all very friendly and the room was perfect. Very clean and they had a fruit bowl in our room. The pool area was very nice and the hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of shops, restaurants and bars. We would definately return to this hotel. The breakfast buffet was average but the staff were happy to make you something in the kitchen if you liked.

Very friendly English speaking staff. Location. Large Room and balcony (deluxe). Nice Breakfast and drinks bar. New hotel. Nice pool. Buy 1 get 1 free drink between 1700 -1900 hrs. The hotel was virtually empty when I stayed here. The Room was very spacious and the balcony (very large)overlooked the main Road. There is a 24 hr 7-11 store and McDonalds directly outside the Hotel. I would definetly consider staying here again.
Nightlife Tip : The Town was fairly quite when I stayed but there are a few bars located directly opposite the Hotel. These don't get busy until late(you will hear the music). Try the seafood restaurants - turn left as you leave the hotel, cross the road. The best is next to what we called the reggae bar (it played the same Bob Marley CD during our meal).
Try the small food, pancake and fruit stalls located directly outside the hotel. Cheap and tasty food.

Very new hotel, clean and friendly and helpful staff With this hotel we were very satisfied. When we first came to reception on a hot day, they offered immediately fresh drinks and cool towels. So we could enjoy our first few minutes already. Because the hotel is new, everything looks proper and nice. Really wonderful premises! In every room they have mats which you can use on the beach. Just below the hotel is 24 hours open McDonalds and Seven-Eleven. We did not miss anything on our stay in this hotel.
Travel tip : When you go to beach better use some shoes, there're many pointed parts which hurt your feet.

Rooms, views, swimming pool, location, staff The staff greeted us most cordially after our long trip to get here. The resort being relatively new had that fresh clean feel about it, as did the room. It was large, modern and everything we needed. It was the perfect place to relax after traveling for five weeks in South East Asia, albeit a little pricey. The only problem we had was at the end when a slightly contentious issue with the bill made the staff suddenly unable to understand the English language which they had had a pretty good grasp of previously.
Travel tip : Whilst Ao Nang is lovely and has a diverse range of eateries, drinking holes and tour options, try the more expensive and out of the way Railay. Better beaches and more private .... but hurry.

Peaceful location and helpful caring staff
Friendly helpful staff who make such an effort to ensure your experience is all good not very good views, except the MacDonald, Sign but nothing else We arrived at the Aonang Cliff Beach Resort . We are very grateful to the hotel staff for all their assistance in making our stay as enjoyable as possible, and They could not have done more. The hotel is a beautiful retreat in the middle of town with its own restaurant serving good evening meals and an excellent breakfast given the size of the hotel. Our room was very large resulting in a comfortable stay. We hope to return to the hotel one day and take care of a lot of relaxing in fascinating Aonang. —

Its hard to know where to start with the Pros of this hotel! We pulled up in our taxi and were meet by two bell boys who promptly took our bags guided us to the sofas in reception and promptly brought complimentary drinks and cold flannels. The hotel is top standard,immaculate, friendly and all details thought of. We had one day of rain but had umbrellas in our room but like wise when we went to the beach for the day found a rattan beach bag with beach mats, flip flops and towels in our wardrobe! The also supply bathrobes and slippers. The pool area is serine and peaceful. The food and fitness room very good the service from hotel staff 2nd to NONE! From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave the hotel staff can not do enough for you! The attention to detail of your arrival greeting and information on hand is fab. We loved all the extras in the room like a ready made beach bag containing beach mats, towels and flip flops and when it rained we had umbrella s in our wardrobe too!! The interior of the rooms is lovely and immaculately clean and always well serviced. Breakfast offers a wide variety and the service is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back to this hotel when in the area.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just at the bottom of the street where hotel,is located is perfect for getting long tails or speed boats for day trips to Pi Pi Island Railay Beach and the many other islands. The shopping around the hotel,is fab do-check out 'exact', a great shop!

The hotell is nice, very clean and brand new. Location is perfect, short walking distance to the beach and boats. Our room were midsized and the bathroom fine. They also have free internet accessible computer next to the front desk. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. The Breakfast was ok, not a huge selection but good enough. Poolarea is quite small but quiet, there was about 20 sunbeds. There is no garden at all. Rooms wich are facing to the street are pit noisy. The hotell is centrally located so its easy to walk to the beach. There is a McD's, Swensen's and 7'Eleven right next to the hotel. Across the street there is restaurats; thai, indian, italian, etc. Its easy to get Songtao from the street to the Krabi town. Taxi costs 600baht to the airport.
Hotel Feature Tip : There is a wonderfull spa across the street, called Lets Sea. It is a heaven!!!
