Clean, quiet, breakfast location Location a bit out of the way, pool in lobby, apathetic but friendly staff The Ao Nang Terrace Hotel was a serviceable one night stay for us. The rooms are clean - you must be prepared to walk up the stairs, by the way, and the staff is friendly, but speaks little English. It is a bit out of the way, but the airport shuttle will drop you at the sister hotel, and they will provide a shuttle. Funny, the "maipen rai" attitude of the Thais showed so well in the morning while 3 couples were waiting for the "7:15 shuttle to breakfast", none of the staff did anything, until 7:30, when I asked, "breakfast shuttle bus?" Only then did it come take us to the lovely beach side breakfast.

Nice and clean with really good staff. Very, very small pool. The breakfast is served in another hotel. Well, its a nice hotel. Its clean and its got a good staff. The location is good but not really good. The room I got was big and had a tv and dvd player. The pool is a joke though. But who needs a pool in Krabi right? I could not be bothered eating the breakfast in a another hotel. So I cant comment on the quality for it. Ao Nang is a very nice place to visit. Its easy to get around to other sights and beaches from there because its on the mainland of Thailand.
Restaurant Tip : Close to the excellent Carnivore restaurant.

shower in bathtub,no holder for showerhead (it was broken in my room) 5-10 minute walk from centre of the beach, but only 40 bath for a moped-taxi to drive u anywhere in the ao nang-strip. no restaurant in hotel, and a mini pool outside. good hotel if ure not to hi-class;-)
Nightlife Tip : luna-bar is closing latest of them all,go there when other bars closes.
