Great Room, swimming pool and location

We were staying in the Grand Superior Seaview room- though not much of a seaview, the room was clean, spacious and very new. Overall value for money- Swimming pool is great and the by the pool side massage was fantastic- although slightly more expensive but very clean and professional. Location is super good with shops and restuarants just outside the resort- We will definetly come back the next time we come to Krabi.

Overall a very good hotel and ideal for honeymoon couple. I will return to this hotel if i am back to Krabi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go on a low season (May - Sept) and you will save alot of the land tour packages.

Two major problems atb this hotel

This was my second stay at this hotel i 3 months. Both times I was received by a personel that has this lack of welcome attitude. And their English skills were so poor that they simply could not accept even simple messages.
The hotel's internet is a disaster. For a businessman it becomes impossible to use this site, because the network is so weak that it breaks all the time. It amazes me that they do not do anything about this, since many people complain. Well, this was the last time I uses this hotel.

Aonang one of the best places in Thailand.

This is the second time we have stayed at Aonang Villas and would go again. The location is excellent and Aonang area is a quiet but great holiday destination, close to many watery attractions.
The food is excellent and well priced.
Although some othes accommodations are a higher star rating and the service is better, this resort offers a good standard at an extremely reasonable price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
4 island tour is a must.

Overall I loved my 6 night stay at hotel. It was confusing about whether Internet would be charged or free. It is NOW free. You have to obtain a paper with user ID and password (no charge) from front desk. The internet worked fine from my room as well. I enjoyed the very nice buffet breakfast with many choices and custom egg station. The other meals that i had were good and I enjoyed them with in house entertainment. The choices for many places to eat out beachside of hotel and to left 1/2 block and could have Italian, Thai, and all others. In September they were offering many meal discounts to increase their clients. Pool was beautiful on grounds and the Dolphin pool by a bar on beachside was right across road from pretty beach. The only thing I didn't care for was my 3rd floor room with no elevator anywhere on property. But I made do with it. The bell men were only too happy to get my bags to room and down again at end of stay. The grounds are very pretty and my Superior room was very roomy and several English movie and news channels on cable. I was in room 3312. Liked receiving 2 free bottles of water daily.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Loved small Italian restaurant on road to right of hotel next to Haganz Dazz Ice cream but on slight alley. Homemade Pastas very good.
Also loved the massage center on beach off to left from same beach exit of hotel. Many thatch room massage places for 200 baht for an hour.
