Very clean resort.

Stayed here four nights. Miscalculated my time in Ao Nang and should have booked five. When I tried to book fifth night no discounts available so price doubled. Reluctantly changed to another resort.
Resort probably employs more cleaning staff than anywhere else I have seen.
Only complaint is that wifi is only free in lobby. When paying reasonable amount of money wifi should be free in rooms. Especially morning and late afternoon lobby is full of people on their devices.
Bit of a walk to main restaurant/bar strip but not too bad.

the bedsheet was smelly i cant sleep well because of that. but the ecoration was superb and the room was spacious and cozy enough except for the smelly bedsheet.
Nightlife Tip:
walking distance to the night market. the streets were lively especially at night, and the best part was,they were just at a walking distance from this hotel.

I stayed over night here with some family as we wanted to go on an excursion to some of the local islands off of Ao Nang Pier the next morning. It was very easy to find and the services were adequate. The rooms were clean the bed was nice and there was amenities provided. The downfalls were that the pool was oddly located in the middle of the hotel which was discouraging to use and the hotel was a 15 minutes walk from downtown. It was nothing special but it worked for an overnight.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Get a taxi into Krabi Town to visit the night market on Saturday and Sunday nights - its fantastic!!

This hotel is located in a quiet and nice area in Ao Nang somewhat away from the main road and the beach. The staff was great and our 2 kids loved the pool. We had a great room with a balcony on the 5th floor and liked that the hotel is not that big compared with some other resorts in the area.

We wanted a few days of relaxing after travelling through Laos. Although we did not care for the very busy Ao Nang, we enjoyed the resort very much with the super friendly staff and the excellent room. The pool and pool area are small, but very nice and clean.

The first impression is the staffs. They're really helpful with sincerely smiles. You can ask for tourist information at the front desk, they'll explain everything you'd like to know without forcing you to buy tour programs like many hotels. The room is clean. The bathroom is quite big with separated bathtub and shower area.
P.S. The food is superb and not expensive.

We stayed in Areetara for several days. The rooms by the pool are nice as you can jump in from your terrace. If you come in, seriously consider those rooms over others.
The other room that we had was one with a balcony towards the garden. I liked it as well, but our room had a funky smell. Instead of giving us another room, they just sprayed deodorizer to the room and AC system. In my opinion 4* place should do a bit better.
