good location and nice room

there are not many people there, so even you don't book the room with direct pool access, you can enjoy the open swimming pool by yourself or your family. the distence to the sea is about 20 mins by walk, so it is ok. they charge me additional money because we check in 3 persons instead of 2, but it is reasonable.

The room is spacious with balcony and facing swimming pool.

Superb Hotel - 5-start treatment

extremely friendly and helpful staff. nice contemporary design at the lobby and room. we even had a balcony overlooking the pool. bathroom was pretty huge with a tub and shower. a stone's throw away from the main street along the beach. very convenient to move about. the hotel also provides scooter rental, which is a plus. although it's instead of further along the beach, we were willing to pay for convenience. the staff gave us a map and directions to krabi town, saving us $$$ of taxi money( one way to town). enjoyed every bit of the stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tiger caves, emerald pool, hot spring, elephant riding, island hopping. There many shops along the beach with souvenirs and foods. Very happening coastal strip with bars and pubs with free pool games.

Consistent hotel in Ao Nang

this was the fourth time i have stayed at aree tara. the staff is friendly, the rooms clean and the value good. the pool access is great but a little expensive. the hotel is about a 10 or 15 minute walk from the main town center which is a drawback if you want to be close to restaurants and nightlife but great if you want peace and quiet. will go back again.

we loved the aree tara especially since they upgraded us for free when we arrived. It is about a 5 minute walk from the town so away from all the noise but easily walkable. All the services you need are around the corner - washing, 7 eleven, tours, taxi, tuk-tuks. The rooms were really clean and nice, had a deck overlooking the pool and a nice bathroom. hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The massages offered down the street were really average we couldn't wait for them to be over so maybe stick to one in town.

the service is good but the floor and chair in the room is not as clean as what i expected.
Anyway, overall i stil satisfy with the room especially with pool side room.

although the hotel is a little far in from the main road, it is still situated in a good location. walking distance to many food places and beach. friendly and helpful staff. hotel is very clean.

very nice and cozy room, with equally nice staff who always have a smile on their faces. two bottles of water is provided free every day, as the tap water is not safe to drink. enjoyed our stay there so much, and would recommend others as well.
Restaurant Tip:
Don't miss out on the excellent Lae Lay Grill and Wangsa Seafood just nearby.
