simple & budget stay at krabi town. room is clean but the air-freshner smells too strong & odd. tv has very limited channels and all thai-speaking. walking distance to the vogue supermarket and night market. 7-eleven is a few shops away too.

room ia quite comfortable but withot windows. as i had stayed der for ony 2 nights. it was no issue. aunty downstairs is very helping & nice, made us feel at home. it is quite near d main market in krabi town & most of the people & taxi drivers know it. actual warm water was der. quite enviornment. bteakfast same everyday but good. definately a must stay for budget travellers.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
U can always ask aunty downstairs to arrange & relax.

This place was pleasant to stay in, cheap with a large room. We stayed in room 44 which was at the back and wifi connection was not that great, but once connected was ok, as long as you didnt move much, this is probably because we was in yhe furthest room from reception.
There are no English channels on the tv if you cant sleep.
It was quite noisey in our room in the morning due to the market outside, which the hotel can not help.
The staff were very friendly and happy to help, would reccomend.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try get a room at front of hotel, as market at back can be noisy, and prob a better wodj connection.

Small but convenient hotels

we were stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, our room was on the 4th floor and it has no lift so daily basis, we do a little exercise. located in the krabi town, it was easy to find food and it also near a local market where you can try local dish. moslem food are easy to find also. the room is clean, has hot shower. simple breakfast is provided, toast and tea / coffee / hot chocolate. can't complaint much since the fare is very reasonable. it took around 15 minutes riding to reach ao nang beach from hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to local market. lots of local foods are sell with very reasonable price. For Moslem, find the Halal sign.

Best for the price, iChat in downtown Krabi. Not ideal if you are looking for a tourist experience, much more suited for those who want to experience Thailand at a local level! Super great place to stay! No English TV channels... If that is what you're after ;) Right next to Maharaj market.
