Very nice hotel and great atmosphere. People were so nice to me and my family. Location was great because it was near everytjing but it still remained peaceful and we could relax fully. From the upper rooms there is a great view from the balcony but it was bolcked by the trees. I would hope that if I come there next time there would be a clear sight to the sea from the balcony. Great place with relaxating atmosphere and beautiful area with the swimming pool and saunas and everything. The sight to the sea from the balcony was blocked by trees, but we could enjoy the view from the pool. Everything was close but the place still remained quite. I really recommend the place for everybody from single travellers to families.

For the cost this is a very good hotel. The staff were really helpful the rooms were clean and tidy and the food was very good. Situated 5 mins from Ao Nang Beach / shopping my wife was in her element.The pool and sunbeds were a let down but it is out of season and the hotel was virtually empty.

We were supposed to stay in a superior room, but since there was a problem with the booking we were upgraded to a deluxe room and later on a deluxe bungalow.
Travel tip : The spa is really nice!
Nemo's tours, just down the road from the hotel, offers cheap and good laundry service. They also offer taxi rides to the airport for 500 bath, probably the best price you can get. We also booked a cooking class through Nemo's, it was great!

Overall enjoyed our stay at Best Western, nice surroundings, lots of greenery.
Travel tip : Just down the road is a small tour agency that charges 500 baht for the airport transfer, 100 baht cheaper than most other places. Can't remember the name but its tiny, on the same side as the hotel just before the big open bamboo/wooden restaurant.

This is not the best resort in Krabi but far better than a guesthouse.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : In Krabi you go out to the small islands during the daytime and to a restaurant in the evening. Just spend time sleeping at the hotel. But if you want to stay at the hotel daytime for 2-3 days, look for a better and bigger place.

Wouldn't use Ao Nang for anything more than a quick stopover. Very touristy.

If you want a hotel to use as a base in Krabi while you are out and about this is a good choice. If you want a resort where you can spend your time and not leave look for another hotel. Alot of painting and renovating was going on so this property has had a revamp lately.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The boardwalk between the beaches was filled with monkeys that were very friendly and if you stopped the little ones would climb on you and give you a gentle pat.
