When we asked for evening turndown at the reception desk, they accepted to do so, but upon arrival nothing had been done. When we called the reception they told us that after 6 pm there was no housekeeping anymore. Why didn't they tell so in the beginning when we asked. They argued back to us and put the blame on us back that we informed them too late.

First night my room flooded from air-conditioner water leak and when I changed room the next day and came across the same problem.

There was no comfortable chair in my room. I suspect I was given a standard room rather than a superior that I booked. Nonetheless, the only chair was a dining type chair at the desk.
Hotel is well located to access the shopping and estaurants of Ao Nang.

Location of the hotel is great, as there is minimart just beside the hotel. Transport to Krabi is easy, motorbike and car rental was easy. There is also a bus that brings you to and from airport. The public transport is easy access. Food stall just round the corner.

Seems like people were staying in Ao Nang (using it as their base and then taking day trips to the various islands and to do the various activities)--might be a good idea. Everything is still open at night, so you can shop and bar-hop in a cooler & more comfortable climate.
- Travel tip : Find other travelers to share a cab with you back to the airport (and from the airport to Ao Nang if you have made friends on the plane)--4 people in a BHT600 cab (normal price, though going to the airport you can bargain this too) is the same price as taking the airport shuttle that leaves at particular times and makes stops (thus taking longer to get there).
