We decided to stay here for our first trip to krabi . The staffs are nice and friendly . Pool is a little small. But clean. We had a great time there.
Restaurant Tip:
We went to eat at Wangsai restaurant. The food were great. Not too spicy.

Big rooms but with impolite staff
Great location as it is pretty quiet but still within walking distance to Ao Nang center

Defintely will book this hotel again. It is pretty quiet during the nigh which suits us fine as we like the tranquillity.
The rooms are big and clean. Breakfast is decent given that we did not pay a lot for it anyway. A bit disappointing with the staff though as they were not very polite. Staff standards should be improved. It seems that double standards were practised when treating hotel guests.

good hotel to base yourself in ao nang

really liked this place, its got what you need in a hotel, big bed, clean bathroom and room, not to far from the restaurants and bars but far enough its not noisy at night, like all big hotels it does lack in character a bit though. Staff were very friendly
Shopping Tip:
just walk up in to ao nang town and theres loads of great shopping and restaurants

I just stay for one night and move to other hotel nearby, this hotel is quite good.good staff service also.
Restaurant Tip:
Just walk to main rd. then on your right hand, there is famous restaurant "wangsai restaurant"

pleasant place to stay...

The stay there was pleasant. Nothing much to complain about asthe price offerred was very exceptionally cheap. The room was okay and comfortable for the price paid. The only thing to highlight was the internet access. Very poor even for the free wifi. the location also was perfect, near the beach, shopping places and restaurants. I enjoyed the stay there.

a warm welcome by all staff, free upgrade and immaculate rooms, what else could be needed? value for money at the buri tara is truly fantastic. staff can not do enough to help, ensuring all guest needs are met - from service to arranging trips. we will definitely return!

Great place to be with a reasonable price

i spent 3 nights at buri tara. plus points about the hotel: the room is clean, love the idea of having a couple wash basin in the bathroom, helpful and friendly staff ( some of them may not speak fluent english, but they are trying their best to understand our need and fulfill our requests), great location as it is near to ao nang beach--5 mins walk.
however, the swimming pool is extremely small, and the wall of the pool which is in contact with the water and not covered by the tiles is rough like sandpaper, noticed i had a few cuts on my limbs after swimming.
my advice is not to rent the motorcycle from the hotel as there are some other cheaper options out there with newer motorcycle. i had a bad experience with renting motorcycle from the hotel. i ended up with a flat tire. i had to send it to the shop for repairing, and the person told me it's not due to puncture by sharp object but because the tire is worn out!! im just the unlucky one who ended up have to share the tire replacement charge with the owner 50-50.

Good hotel and very nice staff
the room is pretty big and comfortable

You'll get what you pay for. The location is a bit far from the beach and if you want to have night life, you have to bring your car with you. There aren't many restaurants around.
The staff is friendly and willing to help you in everything they can.
