Tastefully furnished room close to the beach
Spacious and nodern looking room and bathroom. Just across the road is the beach. In the middle of the town; but still quiet.

The Pavilion suit bunglow I syaed in looked new and modern. Room was clean and spacious and tastefully furnished. Location of the hotel is just across a narrow cobbled road from the beach. For restaurants and shopping you have to walk only few hundred metres. The travel desk was very helpful and probably offers the best rates in town. The airconditioner is probably a little undersized for the room. It took a while to cool down the room. They could improve the quality of beach/ pool towel supplied in the room. Towels looked a little faded and worn. Breakfast was OK- not many variety. Overall, I liked this hotel very much.

Very good location, easy to find and convenient for airport shutter bus, close to the beach just several step and easy to find some food and enjoy night life. But hotel rate only 3 stars not 4 stars at all

The hotel is nicely located in a more quiet part of the beach (it is off the main road) but the service quality and noise from the longtail-boats made the stay less enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was excellent, but service was a disaster. Usually service in restaurants in Thailand is very fast and very friendly. Here it was neither. The pool area is nice and clean but rather noisy because the longtail boats to Railay Beach and other destinations keep roaring in and out of Ao Nang all day long. This is not the fault of the Golden Beach Resort but it made my stay less enjoyable than it could be.
