Howdy Relaxing Hotel, Krabi

Overall the hotel was a great deal for the price. The room was decorated nice and the AC worked great. The hotel was far from town and the only free shuttle was at 7pm and brings you back at 9pm. I wouldn't recommend the complimentary breakfast it was terrible. Another con is that the staff didn't speak english very well but they were nice and always smiling. I only booked this room for 1 night and i think I picked the best hotel for the budget traveler. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Krabi.

a brand new hotel with beautiful rooms if you're not bothered about location. It is out of town and the hotel does not have a regular shuttle service. taxis are expensive from the hotel to krabi town. the hotel doesn't have a bar and only has a restaurant for breakfast. there is a very small room service menu but no-where to eat apart from the lobby. the staff are lovely and the place is spotless. it's fine for a few days.

First of all we decided to stay at the hotel because it was close to the airport, we were only going to stay there for 1 night. At the airport we took the shuttlebus, which drove us directly to the hotel for 120 baht pr. person. When we arrived we got our room in 5 minutes and got a code for the free wireless internet. We were also introduced for the possibilities for free transport to the airport and to the town in the evening. Our room(standard garden view) was very nice with A/C and tv and a nice bed. The pool was also very great. In the evening we decided to head for krabi town, with a songthew the price was only 40 baht each. After a good nights sleep we had our breakfast(included) it was possible to choose between a thai style and american breakfast. We both took the american which included egg, bread, juice, fruit, sausage and a lot of bacon. After that we went to pack our baggagge. It was the i encountered my first problem during my stay, i had somehow lost my passport. Luckily the staff was very helpful and looked all over the room including turning the matress around and looking under the closets etc. I finally found my passport in my pc bag(!) The free airport shuttle bus provided by the hotel waited for us for about 20 minuted and the drove us to the hotel at no cost.. All in all a very positive experience..
