It was ok Guest Rating: 2.5

The condition of the room was not up to standard for the price that was paid. I did not feel we got value for our $. Breakfast buffet lacked fruits and other traditional Thai food. The selection of the food seemed to be catered towards westerners. if I wanted western style cuisine, I would have stayed in Canada or visit the US. The level of english by the staff was alright, considered the training they've received.

the hotel was very well situated from an out door food market that opened during dinner time where authentic Thai food is served with very low prices :)

sheets felt salty, we think it was the water. salty water from tap. The shower head needed replacing as water barely came out from there. No wifi, not a place where I can work and vacation @ the same time.

Krabi Resort is well positioned for a variety of day trips and activities. Recommend 'Lets Go' team 20m to the right of the resort as you come out of it. Very quiet beach, good breakfasts, tiny night market opposite with excellent array of seafood, very cheap. Apart from the Nepalese tailors who bother you as you walk past, the area is friendly, low key, cheap and scenic. Recommended.

On the beach side of the road. Very helpful friendly staff. Nice, spacious rooms around the pool.

Not a great beach bar.

• Travel tip : Boats to Phi Phi leave from just down the road by the National Park HQ. Also a row of local food stalls selling all kinds of 'cooked in front of you' seafood and chicken.

Krabi Bliss in the Wet Season Guest Rating: 4.3

For a confortable place to stay, with space and virtually no one araound, the cottages offered a great option. I originally booked a hotel room, but so much liked the look of the cottages, that paid the bit extra to upgrade - well worth it. Staff was helpful and friendly and the location is truly seafront, but in easy walk to the seafront restaurants and the township itself.

• Restaurant Tip : Look for the laneways that lead to the seafood restaurants - great location and wide choice.

Good service provided within the resort, for example: in-hour tourist office, diving center, tailor, and car/moped rental.

• Restaurant Tip : Large variety of really good restaurants (both Thai and international cuisine).

Beach holiday Guest Rating: 4.0

We recommend the Hotel Krabi Resort if you want a nice holiday along with a central placement. It is near to everything- the beach, the shops, good tailors and nice restraurants.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Near to everything. A trip with the longtail-boats out to the small islands in Andaman Sea, it is just wonderful, the beaches are so lovely!

Excellent location-old hotel Guest Rating: 2.3

The hotel really needs a renovation. Everything is old and we had also mould in our bathroom. Not a hotel to recommend.
