Great location, near beach

small rooms, breakfast was not good

I stayed in standard bunglaw and the room was small and looks quite old. No hair dryer. I belive it is not worth paying for this type of room. Staffs were very friendly. Location is great, lot of restaurant and good location of street shopping. This hotel got its own private beach and mainitained nicely.

Restaurant Tip : There are few food stalls outside hotel and I found it better than from the expensive restaurants.

breakfast at the beach side, quiet and private, good location.

shows aging, needs renovation and facilities upgrading, Eg, safety box and ironing without any charges, wifi coverage

i booked a standard room. it was a really really small room. kind of disappointing and not value for money. private beach is so-so only. not as what i've expected. very kind and helpful staff. i've left my belt during checked out but they found it and returned to me.

Travel tip : there's a manicurist work at the pool side very kind and good with a reasonable price.

Clean, modern rooms. Great location. Nice pool

Have to pay for safe, grounds should be more lit up during the night

We stayed at Krabi Resort for 4 nights. Upon arrival we got a free upgrade from the standard room to the deluxe room. These rooms are very modern, clean and spacious – however are the furthest from the beach and restaurant. You have to pay for the safe in the room which was slightly annoying. The resort is right on the beach and is close to restaurants and shops in Ao Nang. The pool is a good size and is heated. The resort could do with some more lights on the gounds as is a bit dark walking back at night. The hotel is in a good location to use as a base for day trips.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel is great for doing day trips to Phi Phi Islands and Railey Bay

Private , secluded bungalows with very nice grounds.

Breakfast was extremely basic , no changes during the 10 days I was there.

I found all the staff extremely helpful & always smiling. From the welcome fruit drink to the very last day the staff were very courteous and happy in their work. The bungalow was secluded ,private and very comfortable. All the services both plumbing & electrical were of good quality. The bungalows were kept clean & tidy on a daily basis so it made for a relaxing and comfortable stay at the hotel.

Restaurant Tip : Plenty of very good inexpensive restaurants

Great price, very friendly & helpful staff.

None really.

Had a great time at the Krabi resort. Everyone there was friendly & fun to chat with. Location was very nice, on the beach. I was there in the off season so they hosted a lot of local company events. Watch out for some emphatic & loud karayoke if you end up there during one of those, but they always wrapped up by 10pm or so. Overall a great place to launch exploration of everything in Krabi.

Hotel Feature Tip : Cool seashells wash up on the beach at low tide

The scenery is beautiful. Very close to nature, where we can see and hear the birds chirping. Facing the sea on the right side of the resort, the side walk is wonderful. Can even see the birds picking food on the ground. On the whole it is a TTropical Paradise.God's Little Acre.Tq.

It would be nice if the management can instal water heater instead of instant warm water in the bath room. The surrounding compound would be more brighten and beautiful if planted with beautiful flowers and orchids. Sarvadee Kap!

min. 50 words I would very much like to return to Krabi Resort if the rate is reasonable. Hopefully, the highway will lead direct to Krabi. To enlighten the guests, Karaoke or a live band can help to keep the guests busy.A BBC night can be introduced. Fresh sea food is advisable. If possible the catch is from the sea.Tq!

We stayed in a deluxe room. room is big and opens directly to the pool. Hotel provide towels for the pool and beach seperatly all these are very convenient,. Will definitely stay in this hotel if visit this area again.

Restaurant Tip : to the left of the hotel there are mobile food stall which sell cheap and delicious food.

private beach, good pool, friendly staff

have to pay for the safe, no ironing facilities

very good location with a private beach. beach is not very good but good enough to sit and relax. I got a deluxe room which has a pool view. the bunglows are better but more expensive. staff is friendly and helpful. food is costly but if you walk few yards to the left of the hotel there are mobile shops which sell cheap and tasty food. charging for the use of room safe and lack of facility for ironing make this very nice hotel bit unattractive

Restaurant Tip : the small mobile food stalls out side sell fried chicken which is better than kfc

Good location. Overall friendly staff. Nice room(Grand Villa.

Our room had a problem with hot water with the shower. Adjacent block had a room which was being used as what seemed like a sick bay. Some geriatric- probably the owners relative was being nursed there so it felt like we were staying next to a health care centre. Seemed rather unprofessional.

Krabi resort is overall a nice hotel. Breakfast is only so-so. Nothing fantastic but not terrible. The hotel is located near shopping areas and restaurants, all within walking distance.Staff was friendly apart from the omelette dude from breakfast. The resort is right on the beach but not really the best beach to go to. Big resort, but minimal facilities. Still a nice hotel. We would not recommend anything apart from the Grand Villa rooms. The seaview rooms did not seem that nice from the outside and is at ground level so it would not seem like much of a view. Eating by the restaurant will allow an unobstructed sea view just meters from the sea so thats nice. In comparison to the many of the other hotels we saw in Ao Nang, this was really one of the best.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Shop around when arranging your day trips. Many companies to choose from. Choose one that will pick you up from the hotel and drop you back off at your hotel.

location next to beach efficiency of staff

had problem with water supply on day one

i had enjoyable 4 nights stay at krabi resort.the major plus point is the location next to the beach.the 4 for 3 nights deal we got through agoda was excellent value, although we were informed on arrival that it was not optional to pay for breakfast on the free night which we were not informed of when booking.the staff were always helpfull and polite.the breakfast was varied with both western and thai food.i would definitely return to the resort if the same price deal was available.

Well located, right on the beach. The villas and bungallows are of a good size, clean and comfortable. There is an in-room safe. Breakfast is nice, and it is served right by the beach. Staff is attentive.

The advertized wireless internet did not work in the villa section, where the signal was too weak to function. Beds are small.

I have stayed at the Krabi Resort three times, the first being about 15 years ago, then 8 years ago, and most recently a week ago. I really enjoy it. One can rent a freestanding bungallow or a "villa" which is really one floor of a three story small building. They are spacious and clean. The beds are a bit small and could be more comfortable, but they are ok. The grounds of the hotel are nice, kind of a lush jungle setting with lots of lowering plants. Breakfast is served right on the beach, with the surf lapping only a few feet away. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is wireless internet but it does not work in the villas, which are too far away from the transmitter. The hotel is easy walking distance to "downtown" Ao Nang. There are a number of beach-side restaurants right next door. There is a cheap laundromat about fifty feet from the hotel entrance which washes one kilo of clothes for a dollar.

Restaurant Tip : Try the nearby seafood restaurants. All of them are good.

Large room, close to beach, large pool

Restaurant dated

Free upgrade on arrival was nice. Fairly big resort on the beach front in Ao Nang. Nice large pool area with plenty of sun beds around the pool and on the beach front. Breakfast was nice and fresh but didn't each any evening meals there. Hotel is well situated to walk into Ao Nang where there are many nice restaurants and bars to choose from.

None

Hotel location is good ... good spot for night life and night shopping. Good food around the area, and fresh seafood.

Restaurant Tip : Has a good seafood restaurant, Wangsa (can't remember the exact name) that sells fresh and good seafood local dishes.

Good location, value for money. Has a inhouse massage by the beach.

Boat restaurant was rated high ... but could be better. This would attract more guests to eat there.

Generally, hotel good location. The private beach is the selling point, good for family vacation.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Good to rent a car for a day ... places worth visiting are the Buddhist temple and waterfall. Can give Emerald Pool a missed.

lovely lobby, very nice pool, helpful staff, it was low season so there weren't a lot of people around but it was still nice. Was some minor construction going on but nothing to disturb the peace. We loved the food carts that were in front of the hotel to the left.

food and drinks were expensive. Some restaurants offered 10% or 20% discounts. That would have been nice if they did that. Not too much that I didn't like.

Overall the Krabi resort was enjoyable for our 4 night stay in July. We were picked up at the airport which cost 800 Baht for the 4 of us. When we arrived at the hotel they offered us a juice which was very nice and needed. Then they drove us to our rooms on the golf cart. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated and our bungalow rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were large with a great shower. The food was expensive so we didn't eat at the hotel, only for the inclusive breakfast. The pool was large and the water was a great temperature. The hotel is located at the south end of Ao Nang beach but for a nice 15 minute walk you can walk to the other end of the beach to see the monkeys. The hotel was very nice and the grounds were tropical and well maintained.

Restaurant Tip : eat at the food stalls outside and to the left of the hotels. We also had very good Indian food across the street to the right.
