Lovely setting in tropical gardens and best private beach front in Ao Nang. Good standard bungalows in traditional design; breakfast in style with a lovely view of the islands and long boats in the bay
Its pricey but the Pros outweigh the Cons. Some design features in the rooms could be improved eg hooks for towels
This has been our favourite Ao Nang hotel for years. It is simply an excellent place to relax. Its private. The town, shops and restaurants are all a short walk away from the hotel. The hotel is an easy distance (1/2 hr)from Krabi international airport and public transport stops outside the hotel gate. Its an excellent launch point for boat trips to the islands.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We enjoyed excellent trips with Coral Diving - see website. great for those who wish to learn to dive or snorkel

The only hotel with private beach front in Ao Nang. Very central near to all facilities.
Old hotel with dated furnitures especially in the Standard Room.
The hotel is centrally located, near to all amenities and facilities like restaurant, pharmacies, minimart, night market etc. Breakfast is reasonable. Atmosphere within the huge compund is very relaxing, catering mainly to caucasian guests with family. Staff, as in all Thai hotels, are friendly and adequate.
Restaurant Tip : Take a 5 minutes taxi or tuk-tuk ride to Khru Tana Restaurant. Authentic Thai seafood with reasonable price compared to those on the main street.

The pool is quiet and less crowded.
Some staffs are friendly
the interior of the room is very old and the water flow out of the tap is salty(the feeling is like water is from the sea)
the place is located at a concern of the beach which is a good location but the place is too old need a makeover. The room is not very clean, there is no floor mat to dry feets after bathing and the floor is slippery. Towels are old and looks dirty (like rags that we use to clean the house)

Great location, near beach
small rooms, breakfast was not good
I stayed in standard bunglaw and the room was small and looks quite old. No hair dryer.
I belive it is not worth paying for this type of room. Staffs were very friendly. Location is great, lot of restaurant and good location of street shopping. This hotel got its own private beach and mainitained nicely.
Restaurant Tip : There are few food stalls outside hotel and I found it better than from the expensive restaurants.

Private Beach. Comfortable Rooms
Very few rooms with beach view
Krabi Hotel is perfect for a quiet stay on Ao Nang beach. Nice staff, perfect location and good value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Krabi Hotel in close to the peer and dive shops, making it easy for divers to join a dive trip without the hassle of travelling to another side of town.

DE luxe rooms,pool,location,reception.
Beach, sun beds,brakfast,standard rooms
Hotel claims to have private beach. I could not find it unless it is the raised shell shingle terrace constructed fronting Ao Nang beach, barely wide enough for sun loungers. The latter were in short supply even though the hotel was nearly empth and rhe n mattreses were completely inadequate.
Breakfast always a disaster with cold food, egg counter not manned and staff who did not have a clue.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Good base for visiting islands like phi phi ,lanta & others.
Ao nang beach at low tide revealsexpanse of dark brown mud.

Location; pool; de-luxe rooms.
Bat & Breakfast service; Breakfast; Beach a.rea
Beach area very disappointing -Ao Nang is all wet sand here and at low tide dark brown mud.Hotel has a small terrace at back of beach covered in coarse shingle and mostly sloping.Sunbed mattresses poor.
Breakfast cold;egg counter often unmanned with nobody in sight!
Location for shops & bars excellent as Ao Nang is busy but rooms quiet.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ao nang good for island trips either by speed boat(more distant) or long tailed boat. Nearest white sand'turquise water beach - try Railay -accessible cheaply by long tail boat.

DE-luxe rooms;Pool;Reception;Location.
Breakfast; Beach area;Young bar & breakfast staff.
Upgraded from standard to de-luxe rooms which were great. Asked where standard rooms were and was told that they were at the back of the complex by the car park. Did not see them but the location was significantly further from beach and pool.
Breakfast and bar staff behaved as if they had no training and often stood around in small groups not at all attentive.Nice smiles etc but did not have a clue.
Beach area very disappointing but good views to headlands and islands
Restaurant Tip : Resyaurats next to hotel fantastic fr seafood and view - get there before 7.30 to get a sea front table.

breakfast at the beach side, quiet and private, good location.
shows aging, needs renovation and facilities upgrading, Eg, safety box and ironing without any charges, wifi coverage
i booked a standard room. it was a really really small room. kind of disappointing and not value for money. private beach is so-so only. not as what i've expected. very kind and helpful staff. i've left my belt during checked out but they found it and returned to me.
Travel tip : there's a manicurist work at the pool side very kind and good with a reasonable price.

Clean, modern rooms. Great location. Nice pool
Have to pay for safe, grounds should be more lit up during the night
We stayed at Krabi Resort for 4 nights. Upon arrival we got a free upgrade from the standard room to the deluxe room. These rooms are very modern, clean and spacious – however are the furthest from the beach and restaurant. You have to pay for the safe in the room which was slightly annoying. The resort is right on the beach and is close to restaurants and shops in Ao Nang. The pool is a good size and is heated. The resort could do with some more lights on the gounds as is a bit dark walking back at night. The hotel is in a good location to use as a base for day trips.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel is great for doing day trips to Phi Phi Islands and Railey Bay

Private , secluded bungalows with very nice grounds.
Breakfast was extremely basic , no changes during the 10 days I was there.
I found all the staff extremely helpful & always smiling.
From the welcome fruit drink to the very last day
the staff were very courteous and happy in their work.
The bungalow was secluded ,private and very comfortable. All the services both plumbing & electrical were of good quality. The bungalows were kept clean & tidy on a daily basis so it made for a relaxing and comfortable stay at the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Plenty of very good inexpensive restaurants

Great price, very friendly & helpful staff.
Had a great time at the Krabi resort. Everyone there was friendly & fun to chat with. Location was very nice, on the beach. I was there in the off season so they hosted a lot of local company events. Watch out for some emphatic & loud karayoke if you end up there during one of those, but they always wrapped up by 10pm or so. Overall a great place to launch exploration of everything in Krabi.
Hotel Feature Tip : Cool seashells wash up on the beach at low tide

The scenery is beautiful. Very close to nature, where we can see and hear the birds chirping. Facing the sea on the right side of the resort, the side walk is wonderful. Can even see the birds
picking food on the ground. On the whole it is a TTropical Paradise.God's Little Acre.Tq.
It would be nice if the management can instal water heater instead of instant warm water in the bath room. The surrounding compound would be more brighten and beautiful if planted with beautiful flowers and orchids. Sarvadee Kap!

I would very much like to return to Krabi Resort if the rate is reasonable. Hopefully, the highway will lead direct to Krabi. To enlighten the guests, Karaoke or a live band can help to keep the guests busy.A BBC night can be introduced. Fresh sea food is advisable. If possible the catch is from the sea.Tq!
