Michal M. Couples Poland, January 10, 2013	Lovely hotel and amazing service, very impressed. Service 9.7 We spent there 4 nights. We booked the hotel via agoda website after seeing the hotel in person. Really nice hotel but service was the main reason for choosing the mercure. Some people really can speak English. Was nice to talk to some one who actually understand you;) Nice food reasonable priced, pleased with the swimming pool. Very clean, new ish hotel, Well maintained. Hotel consists of six buildings, but we did not fill overcrowded even the hotel was in 80 % full. Location slightly away from the main beaches and the market but still acceptable - about 10- 15 min. walk, or 5 min by tuk tuk ( 40 baths per trip for Couple). Definitely would stay there again and recommend to the friends.

Couples United Kingdom, January 10, 2013	Lovely hotel, few draw backs Clean rooms, comfortable beds, happy hour 8 we stayed in this hotel for 3 nights over my boyfriends birthday. it is a lovely hotel set around a rather unusual swimming pool. the rooms are very clean and comfortable, we opted for a deluxe room but if you can get a pool access they were great! staff were friendly and always willing to help, although they completely messed up my boyfriends birthday surprise but he had a great day so no worries there. food was very expensive, 450 baht for breakfast each i think it was so we skipped it. the 'italian' night wasn't bad, had a little area you could make your own pizza! only negative really for us was that it was full of little kids, screaming, one even went to the toilet in a bush by the pool with his mum praising him, yet there was a toilet about 50 meters away?!?? also location a bit out of the way but they run a free shuttle service or it's a tuk tuk for around 40baht each way which did not bother us at all to pay. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Go to Railay beach if you can, or on the 4 islands trip

Groups Indonesia, January 10, 2013	Good Hotel but lack of English language capability Atmosphere, big room, nice rainforest shower! 6.7 Very nice hotel with a small lobby - I think it is the way the resorts around that town. Receptionists always try to do their best with English even though there are still lots of misunderstanding, though there are a small numbers of receptionists and other staffs that can do great English, such a luck if you are served by them! Pretty fast check-in and check-out time. Hotel Feature Tip: Ask for pool access room

Especially the direct entry into the pool from the rooms on the ground floor. Travel tip: Located approximately 400m to the end of Ao Nang stretch. So you can easily get to the stretch by foot or alternatively hop on the free shuttle that runs daily for 4/5 times a day (It's only on way ride though, the driver stops anywhere by request and the ride ends at Starbucks).

Nice Pool, staff, big clean rooms 7.7 this was the second time my wife and i stayed at the mercure. we like the long pool that runs the length of the hotel between the buildings with balconied rooms. the lounge chairs are well placed so that guests can relax in comfort. the daily lunch specials by the pool are a plus too. the restaurant is pricey and we walked to town to eat most of the time. the internet wifi is spotty at times but we managed. there is a book exchange in the lobby that we also took advantage of. the food vendors on the road to town have some great food including banana pancakes, sliced mango and pineapple and fried chicken.

Couples Taiwan, January 10, 2013	great service 9 all employee are well-trained and friendly. therefore, the service is quite well. of course, the swimming pool is the most attractive point. since the hotel is located near the ao-nang beach, the land transportation isn't convinient because only one bus line and the frequency about every 30 mins. if you plan to enjoy the island tour in andaman sea, this hotel is a good choose beacause all tour companies always arrange pick-up service from the lobby to the pier.
Lirong P. Groups Singapore, January 08, 2013	Modern and clean hotel New and clean facilities and room 6.3 The hotel is modern and new. Room is clean and spacious, and the balcony was a huge plus. Walls are thin so it was very noisy when the house keeping cleared the room adjacent to ours. Food in the hotel was costly though but expected hotel pricing. It is situated about 10-15mins walk away from the main Ao Nang area so be prepared to walk or take the tuk tuk. Lots of convenience stores just outside the street of the hotel, very convenient. The only downside is that the staff dont speak much or good English. Also had a couple bad experiences with the staff when we requested to borrow an additional beach bag, called housekeeping but they ignored and when we went to the reception, the one on duty dismissed our request and insist there are no extra on the resort premises. We spoke to another lady and managed to get in in 10 secs, felt that service from the recept on duty (Paphop) was poor and insincere.

Israel, January 06, 2013	excellent hotel, wonderful stuff generious stuff, excellent pool, quiet 10 the hotel was excellent for us. we travelled during the peak season and we looked for a quality hotel with reasonable price. Mercure Krabi Deevana fit this option perfectly. Ao Nang is great loocation for Honeymoon travellers. the kindest stuff we ever met.

The other facilities in the hotel were also very nice including the pools which were always clean, the sunbird lounge was also a great feature. 9 This is an excellent hotel for a vacation. It's not next to the beach but it's quite an easy walk there. The hotel staff are great and always willing to assist with anything with a smile. The sunbird lounge is a great place to relax after a full day of Island hopping and exploring where you can order drinks and bar food delivered right to your sunlounger by one of the 3 pools. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The hotel provides a beach bag with two towels which is a nice touch. The only criticism I have is that the TV has limited English channels but we didn't spend much time watching TV anyway. I would also advise against the hotel spa simply because I thought it was overpriced for the services provided. There are many more places where you can get a massage in Ao Nang for a fraction of the price. Hotel Feature Tip: Go for a room with either pool access or pool view. You won't regret it!
Rebecca J. Solo travelers Australia, January 04, 2013	Lovely hotel, nice pool with plenty of sun lounges walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Ao nang 8 The hotel is lovely. There is only one restaurant and service was slow at times. Prices were quite good. A very good 1-for-1 happy hour at the pool bar. There was also a spa, but it was quite expensive. There's a shuttle service a few times a day into the main street, but it is an easy 10-15 minute walk, with shops to look at along the way. The beach is also along the way. Room was confortable, clean. Wifi in the rooms.
