Informed Agoda we are on our honeymoon but hotel didnt make any effort to make our stay a memorable one. Waited for 30mins for airport transfer as driver left us. Claimed we were late whereby flight was delayed & they should use initiative to check on flight updates at the airport. Room service was average. Called twice for ice as the 1st waitstaff forgot our order until we called again 45mins later.

Checking in was very slow.So was checking out time.I took their laundry bag to separate my dirty clothes with the clean ones in my bag.They found it missing from their cupboard and I was charged 70bhat for it.I have traveled a lot and stayed in a lot hotels.....,,,,never have I been charged for a laundry bag.

Mercure was fine, as you would expect from mercure, however only concern I had was the pools were a little suspect- cloudy water with minimal visibility, whether this was due to chemical or cleanliness don't know but it put me off swimming. Otherwise rooms, staff facilities were good. Location not what we were after but is fine, we preferred to be closer to main drag of Ao Nang.

I would say it is Mercure quality hotel. Staff is very nice, but it is far away from the beach, so if you are planning beach holiday it is not hotel of your choice. Swimming pools are really nice. Room with swimming pool access really has its value.
