Very nice Boutique hotel, elegantly furnished and decorated Villas. Attentive staff. Excellent kitchen and menus. (A-la-carte breakfast and dinner menu) This was my first visit to Krabi and I am glad I found and stayed this Resort. After a pleasant 30 min. drive by taxi from the airport I was greeted with a very warm welcome by the very attentive staff. The resort is nicely laid out over three/four levels down to the beach. The Villas are located between lush and tropical vegitation. Room design & decoration is modern and high class. The private beach is very accessible much nicer and private than the beach in front of the nearby Sheraton. Enjoyed the atmosphere in the resort as it is serene and relaxed. Food is delicious. Alternatives to dine exist outside the hotel. Free wireless internet access in the room completed the already perfect picture. I will definitely return!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Definitely plan for a boat trip to Hong Island to see the tropical fish directly from the resort. Other tours can be arranged by the hotel staff.

Excellent service. Beautiful rooms. Gym needs improvement. neither the cycle nor treadmill was working Beatiful location. Spacious and well appointed room. Restaurant also excellent with ggod food and lovely views over the sea. There was a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us on arrival and they made a birthday cake for me when they realised it was my birthday. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are knowledgeable about the surrounding area and happy to suggest and arrange activities. We would definitely stay there again when we go to Krabi. The only drawback may be for people without a car - the hotel is quite a distance from Ao Nang and Krabi town.
Restaurant Tip : The beach restaurant along the bay from Nakamanda makes good Thai food at reasonable prices considering it lies between Nakamanda and the Sheraton.

clean, friendly, free internet, fresh drinks and refreshing towels. too friendly that it invaded our privacy at some points. the resort was beautiful and everyone was wonderful and friendly. the massage was overrated (go next door to the left and get a better massage for 250 baht). the staff while accomodating in every respect did invade privacy when my wife and I just wanted to sit and relax together. the hotel staff went above and beyond and helped us in every manner that we requested. the hotel needs to hire more support staff that speaks better english or french. the rooms were not sealed off, so mosquitos, grechos came into the room, but they did everything they could to eliviate them, including lemongrass.

professionalism of staff, aesthetics of room, restaurant food quality, kids can feed the guppies at meal time, near-private lagoon April-09 was our 4th stay at Nakamanda, and we will return again next year. The staff are attentive, friendly, and guest-oriented. The high level of Nakamanda professionalism is obvious when comparing to the lesser quality of neighboring 5-star Sheraton Hotel. The Nakamanda restaurant improved between Mar-08 and Apr-09 to surpass the pricey Sheraton restaurants in quality and presentation of food. Rooms are the best along the 10km stretch of resorts. Included in the hotel rate are local transport, 24-hour wireless broadband Internet access, and breakfast. Just outside the hotel is affordable massage, laundry, tailor, restaurant, and mini-mart.

Friendly and courteous staff. No request is unreasonable. Fantastic location. We stayed at the Nakamanda last year and enjoyed it so much, we returned again this year. And will return to the same resort every time we go back to Krabi. It has its own private beach, a beautiful pool, magnificently decorated villas, they have the best hotel staff we’ve ever come across and it’s right opposite Hong Island. The Nakamanda recently appointed a new chef and the food this year was even better than last year, however, their menu is limited but tasty. We wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to stay. It truly is an experience.
Hotel Feature Tip : One of the best employees at the resort will organize any tour, group or private and the kitchen will arrange a picnic basket that's "just right". We recommend a private tour to Hong Island and one to Maya Beach.

Lovely secluded hotel far away from noise and crowded beaches.Great service by very attentative staff. Transportation services very expensive if arranged by the hotel Nakamanda is a very beautiful resort.If you like peace and quiet this is a great place.Even standard rooms are of a very good standard,with oversize baths and very high quality amenities. I found the level of service to be very high and i have been to 100 5 star hotels in thailand and rate the service at the Nakamanda to be amongst the very best in Thailand. If you want an amazing honeymoon this is the place.

The rooms are fabulous and the staff are exceptional. During breakfast, the waitresses took our kids to feed fish to let us enjoy peaceful time by the sea. Gardening staff let the kids help them pick up fallen leaves. Pool staff caught crabs on the beach with the kids. Nearby transport was provided by hotel car free of charge.
Shopping Tip : Laundry (wash & fold) is available across the street from the hotel for 100 Baht per kg.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff are well trained and attentive and the overall experience was first rate. The accommodation is of a high standard and facilities are very well maintained. Rooms are very clean as is the whole resort. The beachfront location is first rate however will not suit anyone seeking bars and nightlife. This is a small, personalised resort, excellent for relaxing and doing nothing, although staff will organise island trips, car hire or anything else you require. Highly recommended. We would return without hesitation.

Spa was a great experience; however, the place across the road only charged a fraction of the price. The Nakamanda really was an experience, from the welcome drink to the farewell herbal tea.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ask the hotel to arrange a personal long boat and take a trip to Hong Island during high tide. Do not go on a group tour. Keep it simple.

The well-trained professional. Hotel very cute and charming. Location idyllic calm. Cuisine and excellent quality. Better insulation to avoid the presence of insects, ants and mosquitoes, for example, just add the joints in the bottom of doors and windows. Hotel Feature Tip : Enjoy the exceptionally quiet beach just left out of the hotel. The evening (not too late), we can walk to Ao Nang or Krabi Town (taxi). The hotel offers excursions to visit especially in the Phi Phi islands.

Staff determined that the detailed answer, I feel very good. The hotel is one of the most memorable impression in the past have stayed. The小DZINMARI and was dressed in a hiding place in a calm space.
